Five good things that happened this week.
1. Mailed some packages and chatted with the new postal clerk about stamps. New postage stamps to be issued: Western wear with cowboy boots, a mystery message, Day of the Dead, and Message monsters. Just to name a few.
2. Enjoyed the movie Oz, the Great and Powerful
3.Sipped my morning cup of tea in the sun room while listening to the rain beat against the roof
4. Watched a really bad sci-fi movie starring Robby the Robot called The Invisible Boy. Poor dialogue, poor cinematography, so bad but so good.
5. Caught up with friends at the Wellness Fair on the Natick Town Common.
How was your week?
I always enjoy seeing the new stamps at the PO so I love hearing what is coming. Thanks goodness for stamps that don't go bad as postage rates change as I have a whole collection of those I like. Your week sounds great. Other than Monday, it was a nice week, wasn't it? Happy Friday. Hugs-Erika

DeleteI was impressed by all those new stamps. I especially liked Day of the Dead and the new Happy Birthday ones. Once you see the Mystery Message, you can't unsee it.

DeleteMy weeks follow the pattern: lather, rinse, repeat.....and repeat.....and repeat. I need to gig out of this rut....lol. ;)

DeleteSounds like a good week. I need to look into those Day of the Dead stamps. I've seen some people on social media saying the covid-19 vaccine is how the Zombie Apocalypse starts, so those stamps seem well timed. :-) But with the cost of stamps, I'll probably stick with bird stamps. :-)
ReplyDeleteThe Day of the Dead stamps haven't been issued yet. They will probably come out in October and when the price of stamps goes up.
