How Does Your Garden Grow?

Winter is coming. Timex wedges himself inside the birdfeeder to stuff himself with seeds.

Yellow leaves fall like rain.

Hydrangeas fade

The weeds are still blooming.

Goldenrod and Heath asters form the sideline of the meadow.

This fellow was attracted to the goldenrod

The twin trees out back are in distress.

Looks like we'll have to call the tree removal service.

Winter may be coming, but Summer is trying to hang on. The morning glories never bloomed but this sunny fellow made an appearance.

How does your garden grow?

  1. I think your garden still looks pretty good. Fall starts this week so I guess its about the time that the leaves get a little ting of color. Let me take that back, I think more than ting around here. I always enjoy your garden views. hugs-Erika

  2. Always good to see your garden views. It is still very much summer here, and none of the trees have turned yet. Too bad about the morning glories, but I still love those hydrangeas. Yes, the trees seem to be in distress. I fear they will have to come down sooner rather than later, especially if you get tons of snow this year.

    1. If they do come down, there's a chance they could fall on the sunroom. I'll be giving the tree guy a call this week to come take a look.

  3. Your garden is still looking good. I think summer has given up over here, it's cold and wet, just got a few chrysanthemums and some clover on my balcony. Have a good start in the new week, hugs, Valerie

  4. I echo all of the above sentiments, still looks good. Too bad if you lose the trees. But that's the cycle of life I guess.

    1. Sad if the trees have to come down. On the bright side, without the trees, more sunlight for the solar array to make electricity.
