Five good things that happened this week.
1. Since there is no mail delivery on Sunday, I didn't have to go out in the pouring rain to the mailbox.
2. Asked the Eldest if we'd be able to Skype on Thursday night. She said she was invited to her elderly neighbor's family for Thanksgiving. I'm so glad she won't be alone for the holiday.
3. Mailed a package to the Eldest. Pleased to find out it should arrive by today (Friday).
4. I ran out of mozzarella for the Parmigiana we were making to bring for Thanksgiving. Himself knows I hate grocery shopping and crowds so he ran out to pick more up.
5. Lovely Thanksgiving at the Brother-in-Law's.
How was your week?
So great you have a lovely Thanksgiving☺☺
ReplyDeleteIt was very nice.
DeleteGlad your week was good. Mine was rather stressful, too many appointments and not enough time for walking! Valerie
ReplyDeleteHopefully, this coming week will be calmer for you with enough time for walking
DeleteI'm glad your eldest wasn't alone for Thanksgiving. The food looks delicious. Happy (belated) Thanksgiving.
ReplyDeleteYeah, I'm glad she wasn't by herself.
DeleteThat parmigiana looks delicious, I bet your family enjoyed it! So pleased that you had a lovely time over Thanksgiving and that your eldest had company and received her parcel today 😀. Happy Friday and wishing you a wonderful weekend! Hugs, Jo x
ReplyDeleteYup, it was a good week all around
DeleteIt sounds like you had a lovely Thanksgiving week :) Your dish looks delicious, and I'm guessing there weren't any leftovers from that :) Happy Buy Nothing Day! ;)
ReplyDeleteThe Parmigiana was a big hit and there were lots of leftovers because I was taught to cook for a small country instead of the exact number of guests attending a dinner. 😺
DeleteGoodness, CJ, you really ARE a little princess. I wish I had a personal grocery shopper (grin). It sounds like you had a good Thanksgiving, at least.
ReplyDeleteShall I make your eyes turn green and tell you that up until a couple of years ago, I never did the grocery shopping? I hated it so that was Himself's job. Truth be told, he's a much better shopper than I am. I do shop with the Little Princess method. If the Little Princess wants it, she buys it, whether or not the item is on sale makes not difference to the Little Princess. 😺
DeleteGreat list of good things.
ReplyDeleteLasagne looks excellent.
Eggplant. Thanks.
DeleteI hope you had a nice Thanksgiving CJ and the week sounds great! Hope your weekend starts off in a good way too. Hugs-Erika
ReplyDeleteLooks like it might be ending with snow. 😿
DeleteSounds like a good week and a Happy Thanksgiving! (Glad the Eldest had somewhere to go! I was worried about her too!) :)
ReplyDeleteAwww, that was sweet of you.
DeletePleased that your week was good, and that you had a Happy Thanksgiving :)
ReplyDeleteAll the best Jan
