The Friday Five Good Things

Five good things that happened this week.

1. Since there is no mail delivery on Sunday, I didn't have to go out in the pouring rain to the mailbox.

2. Asked the Eldest if we'd be able to Skype on Thursday night. She said she was invited to her elderly neighbor's family for Thanksgiving. I'm so glad she won't be alone for the holiday.

3. Mailed a package to the Eldest. Pleased to find out it should arrive by today (Friday).

4. I ran out of mozzarella for the Parmigiana we were making to bring for Thanksgiving. Himself knows I hate grocery shopping and crowds so he ran out to pick more up.

5. Lovely Thanksgiving at the Brother-in-Law's.

How was your week?

  2. Glad your week was good. Mine was rather stressful, too many appointments and not enough time for walking! Valerie

    1. The Parmigiana was a big hit and there were lots of leftovers because I was taught to cook for a small country instead of the exact number of guests attending a dinner. 😺

  6. Goodness, CJ, you really ARE a little princess. I wish I had a personal grocery shopper (grin). It sounds like you had a good Thanksgiving, at least.

    1. Shall I make your eyes turn green and tell you that up until a couple of years ago, I never did the grocery shopping? I hated it so that was Himself's job. Truth be told, he's a much better shopper than I am. I do shop with the Little Princess method. If the Little Princess wants it, she buys it, whether or not the item is on sale makes not difference to the Little Princess. 😺
