Five good things that happened this week.
1. We celebrated the Young One's 10,000 day on Earth with her favorite dinner, chicken and dumplings and brownies for dessert.
2. It's been a long time, but I saw the cardinal pair at the bird feeder
3. There was a smiley face in the bathroom sink.
4. Spent the afternoon playing some board games with the Young One. Tsuro, Munchkin, and Apples to Apples.
5. Himself gave me an early Christmas present. A fully articulated Godzilla with heat ray to warm the stable.

ReplyDeleteGodzilla comes from the Japanese monster movies of the 1950s, considered King of the Monsters. He's a giant, prehistoric sea creature awakened because of nuclear radiation. Think of the heat ray like a fire breathing dragon. He was scary in some of the movies, later movies he saves Japan.

DeleteOur cardinals have also been rare lately, which seems strange, but we do still see them sometimes. Happy belated birthday to The Young One, may she enjoy many more.

Most weeks are good weeks. And even when the week is fraught with problems, I can still say, I'm relatively upright and breathing. That makes for a good week. 😉
