ReplyDeleteHurray! 🎺
DeleteSeems to be a musical?
ReplyDeleteYup, one of the few musicals I like.
DeleteGood movie! :D
ReplyDeleteIndeed
DeleteHmmm. Do I remember this film? Bits of if. But I certainly remember the song. Talk about something being a classic. But can I sing more than the first couple of lines, nope. Happy Saturday. Hugs-Erika
ReplyDeleteGood thing otherwise you might be blaming me for giving you an ear worm 👂 🐛
DeletePriceless! A classic :) Robert Preston is perfect.
ReplyDeleteAnd to think he never had a role where he sang and danced before this film
DeleteI Love musicals-I saw this one on broadway in Chicago but I loved the movie too Great pick this week Happy Saturday
ReplyDeleteGlad you enjoyed it
DeleteI obviously never saw this in the movie theater, but DID see it in a musical put on by our local theatrical group years ago. It was fun to sing along with the songs, at least the ones I'd heard before.
ReplyDeleteBTW, I just got home from being gone and got something from you. Wanted to let you know it was here and will open it as soon as I visit everyone. Thank you in advance, dear CJ.
I never saw this in the movie theater, either, only on television. And it was a play before it was adapted for film.
DeleteI do seem to remember this and I'm sure we had the record too … I shall start singing along soon! LOL!
ReplyDeleteAll the best Jan
Happy tunes
DeleteI love this movie and haven't seen it for years! Thanks for the reminder and link 😁. I hope you had a lovely weekend! Hugs, Jo x
