T Stands for Still Life
When the Eldest was in college she took an acrylic painting class as one of her electives. I think during her senior year. She painted this homey scene of a steaming cup of coffee on a cold, snowy day. The painting is hanging in the dining area of her apartment.
Drop by hosts, Bleubeard and Elizabeth's blog to find out what the rest of the T Stands For gang is up to. If you want to play, include in your Tuesday post a beverage or container for a beverage. Don't forget to link your blog to Bleubeard and Elizabeth's page.

ReplyDeleteAnd for the Eldest, coffee! 😺
DeleteI love the painting and the scene through the window, our GSs both painted a picture for me, sunflowers, not sure if they did them together at after school classes as they were so alike even though The 11 year old loves drawing and the 7 year old not so much It was quite spooky how alike they are, I’ve still got to find frames for them
ReplyDeleteHappy T Day, Jan x
The Eldest used a wrapped canvas so didn't need to find a frame. 😊

My favorite colors: cobalt blue and white. Now all I need is a bit of copper, too (grin). Seriously, your daughter did well and it is the absolute perfect addition to T this Tuesday, dear CJ.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite colors, too
DeleteThat is a lovely painting. And steaming coffee is perfect during this arctic blast we're having. Ugh. Happy T-Day!
ReplyDeleteStay warm!
DeleteLovely painting and perfect for T-day. It's very cool to be able to hang a canvas that you painted yourself.
ReplyDeleteHappy T-day! Eileen xx
Yup, something she can be proud of.
DeleteThat's cute and i like it when people hang their art. I don't really do mine but i hang my sister's art at times.
ReplyDeletereminds me of years and years ago i sketched coffee cups and for God Sakes I can't remember why for a time I drank instant coffee - but seeing that sketch awhile back in my file reminded me that when I quit smoking way back i also cut down on coffee and then cut way down and just made a cup of instant here and there. Glad i got over that phase of my life. Anyway i sketched the jar of instant coffee with the coffee cups, sillly me.
Always good to have a reminder 😺
DeleteWow! Two views in one painting! Great to be on the inside drinking coffee! Pleased to know it is being displayed - quite rightly! Belated Happy T Day! Chrisx
ReplyDeleteAlways better to be inside when it's snowing outside.
