T Stands for Still Life

When the Eldest was in college she took an acrylic painting class as one of her electives. I think during her senior year. She painted this homey scene of a steaming cup of coffee on a cold, snowy day. The painting is hanging in the dining area of her apartment.

Drop by hosts, Bleubeard and Elizabeth's blog to find out what the rest of the T Stands For gang is up to. If you want to play, include in your Tuesday post a beverage or container for a beverage. Don't forget to link your blog to Bleubeard and Elizabeth's page.

    1. I'm surprised she chose blue and white cups because pink is her favorite color.

  9. I love the painting and the scene through the window, our GSs both painted a picture for me, sunflowers, not sure if they did them together at after school classes as they were so alike even though The 11 year old loves drawing and the 7 year old not so much It was quite spooky how alike they are, I’ve still got to find frames for them
    Happy T Day, Jan x

    1. The Eldest used a wrapped canvas so didn't need to find a frame. 😊

  12. My favorite colors: cobalt blue and white. Now all I need is a bit of copper, too (grin). Seriously, your daughter did well and it is the absolute perfect addition to T this Tuesday, dear CJ.

  15. That's cute and i like it when people hang their art. I don't really do mine but i hang my sister's art at times.

reminds me of years and years ago i sketched coffee cups and for God Sakes I can't remember why for a time I drank instant coffee - but seeing that sketch awhile back in my file reminded me that when I quit smoking way back i also cut down on coffee and then cut way down and just made a cup of instant here and there. Glad i got over that phase of my life. Anyway i sketched the jar of instant coffee with the coffee cups, sillly me.
