T Stands For Lunch Is Ready

Ramen noodles are pretty much a staple around here with my girlies. A cup of soup with long, slurpy noodles. Perfect when you want something hot for lunch or a snack but are too lazy to cook. 😺 And how do you know when your ramen is ready to eat?

Enter Cup Man! A little, silicon man that you lay on the ramen lid. When he turns color, from red to clear, your ramen is ready.

Sure, you could follow the instructions on the lid. Set a timer and wait 3 minutes, but where's the fun in that?

Drop by hosts, Bleubeard and Elizabeth's blog to find out what the rest of the T Stands For gang is up to. If you want to play, include in your Tuesday post a beverage or container for a beverage. Don't forget to link your blog to Bleubeard and Elizabeth's page.

  5. This was a fun post and I have never seen this little ramen man-very clever. I remember way back in my college days-late '60s the ramen noodles were always in our dorm rooms. I never ate them after that haha well now I can't with the gluten and high salt
    Happy T wishes hugs Kathy

    1. I don't eat them often because of the salt content, but I did sacrifice one for this post. 😺

  6. My hubby eats these soups all the time!! I don't but only cuz of the salt content. Never saw a silicone man like that that gauges temperature. Fun indeed! Happy T day!

    1. Just be aware, they contain lots of salt and calories for something that doesn't seem substantial

  8. OMGosh, I am in LOVE with Ramen Noodles. I used to eat them ALL the time, but the salt got a bit too much for me. I seldom purchased the ones in cups, preferring the bags, where I could control the amount of flavoring I added. BUT then, I could never use Ramen Man if I didn't buy the cup of ramen. Such a cute and clever take on T this Tuesday, dear CJ.

  12. That Cup Man is a fun invention! Using him is more fun that setting the timer. I sometimes make ramen noodles for a meal. They have several different tasty flavors that I like. (I use the packages, not the cups.) Head's up for this upcoming weekend weather: NOAA can't decide what it will be yet. Happy T-Day!

    1. It's pretty much the chicken flavor here, and the cups are just more convenient for the lazy. 😺 Just heard the local weather. The thinking is the storm is going south of us and out to sea. The Cape and Southeastern Massachusetts may get clipped, but not the rest of MA. I think Erika in New Hampshire is in the clear, too.

  14. cute. I've never eaten much of ramen but i did try, last night, a Pad Thai which was instant just adding water...and it was not very good. Got it at Aldi and won't get those again.
