Five good things that happened this week.
1. Red and I were going to lunch at Panera. There was a long line because at this Panera, the ordering system was being automated. People were at the ordering kiosk, trying to read the menu and order their items. All the while, there were Customer Service people behind the counters and not helping anyone. We were near Point Breeze so went there and had an awesome lunch. No lines and no self-serve.
2. Himself had a late tutoring session at the library in Natick. He suggested I tag along and then we could go out to dinner at Agostino's at the end of the block. Perfect suggestion.
3. I found my old favorite Celestial Seasoning's Gunpowder Tea at the grocery store. I haven't seen this blend in decades.
4. The Power Wall was delivered
5. Installation started on the Power Wall
How was your week?
I love tea! Have a lovely weekend ☺
ReplyDeleteThis one is potent and will get you up and moving in the morning.
DeleteWhat is a power wall? You had a good week, and with some good food! The best thing about my week is that is nearly over, and I'm nearly off the dreaded cortisone. Now things can start looking up again! Valerie
ReplyDeleteI will explain on Monday when I can take a picture of the Power Wall
DeleteGlad treatment has progressed so that you can get back to normal.
Enjoy the tea.
ReplyDeleteI am, thank you.
DeleteGood morning, I have not seen that tea in a very long time either-I used to drink this one yeas ago when I could drink caffeine. good idea-just tag along and go out for lunch hugs Happy Friday Kathy
ReplyDeleteThe tea is as good as I remember it being.
DeleteGood week! Yay for the power wall! No more worries about power outages! :D
ReplyDeleteI hope so.
DeleteI've never experienced this ordering system. It does sound more time-consuming. I've never heard of that Celestial Seasonings blend. I tend to not branch out with my tea choices. I should try something different. Maybe Gunpowder Tea :) A Power Wall? I look forward to a photo :)
ReplyDeleteCelestial Seasonings is known for herbal teas. This is the only blend I know that they make that has caffeine. The gunpowder tea is a bold blend and makes a great cup of tea first thing in the morning.
DeleteMy week was busy but fast. Not so sure about this super cold. I think your week sounds good. Going out to eat and finding your favorite old tea. I wish they would bring back the strawberry kiwi one. But maybe they have. Happy weekend. Hugs-Erika
ReplyDeleteThis month is going fast! I'll keep an eye out for the strawberry kiwi. The weekend would be a lot happier without snow. At least your puppers will enjoy the snow.
DeleteThat is some tea!!
ReplyDeleteCrazy ordering system you nearly had there.
I started training this week again. Boy, I am so not fit! ;-)
You'll get there.
DeleteSounds like you had a great week! Yes, I complain a lot about technology and I hate those kiosk things in both banks and restaurants - let us just say that customer service has gone down the crapper in part because of this kind of stuff.
ReplyDeleteGreat thinking on your hubby's part! Glad you had such a cool week!! :)
When the automats work, they work well, but I think it's still faster with a human
DeleteI have to start doing your 5 good things on friday! Even if it's just for myself. I find my weeks are going into each other! I have to stop and breathe! LOL! I love that tea too! I wonder if we are getting it back in Canada as well? I have to check!
ReplyDeleteI find the 5 helps me keep a positive look on things. Even when a day goes downhill, there's always something that makes it not so bad.
DeleteWonderful list. I wonder if that tea has as much caffeine as a mug of my French roast coffee.
ReplyDeletePer their website: Celestial Seasonings Morning Thunder contains 35 mg. of caffeine per 8 oz serving.
