T Stands For Color Me Giddy

Workshop week offered a fun Procreate workshop Doodling Faces on Every Day Items by Donna Adi. I took a photo of a white coffee mug and imported it into Procreate.  I wasn't sure what I was doing and just piddledinked along, but managed this happy, little camper, and I was insufferably pleased with myself.

Not knowing where the tools are located in Procreate or how to use them properly was the impetus for me to take the Procreate workshop that I talked about a few weeks ago. After working through the first exercises, I was able to  make this guy.

Drop by hosts, Bleubeard and Elizabeth's blog to find out what the rest of the T Stands For gang is up to. If you want to play, include in your Tuesday post a beverage or container for a beverage. Don't forget to link your blog to Bleubeard and Elizabeth's page.

  2. These are fun. I'm a little confused though. Are these just faces on a photo of your mug, or could you print out stickers to put on your actual mug. They are really adorable either way though. Happy T day CJ. Hugs-Erika

    1. The faces on the mug were digitally drawn using the iPad and the drawing app Procreate.

I could make stickers for the mug using the Scan n Cut cutting machine, but I don't think the stickers would last through washing and certainly not through a dishwasher

    1. Yeah, it's addicting. Plus, tons of "art supplies" to use without the mess of having them scattered about. Win win. 😺

  7. Uh oh.....you're hooked! Next thing you know you'll be looking to graduate to a desktop Cintiq! 😉 (Isn't it fun though? And how proud we are of ourselves when we manage to actually do it!)

  9. Wow, this is a feat. I have no talent with photo editing so I admire those that can do it well. And this is so cool! Well done.
    Happy Tea Day,

  12. Oh that sounds like fun! I have not heard of Procreate. Well done you for learning how to use it. Your mugs look great!
I love your coffee machine. We don't seem to have this brand in Europe (at least I have never seen it). I particularly like the colour.

    1. Keurig is the most popular brand here and I’m glad they have gotten away from the boring appliance colors.

  14. Wonderful new tool, CJ. Lots of fun and no messy glue or scissors. This is so fun and I love both these faces that make a drink so much more enjoyable, even if it is on screen only. Thanks for sharing your latest Procreate project with us for T this Tuesday, dear.
