Good ol' Blogger rearranging the photos backwards
The sedum the Eldest plunked in the ground several years ago looks pretty. Pink, her color.
Lots of little tomatoes
Busy bee in the Heath Aster
Nice to see the bees coming back
A milkweed pod exploded
Milkweed pods ripening
Petunias trying to make a come back.
In a few weeks, the morning glory seeds will be ready to harvest
Ugly tomatoes. Too much water
Three little eggplants
A ripening pepper
The leaves are late this year. Usually by this time, the lawn in ankle deep in leaves.
Two different colors on the hydrangea bush
The leaves are late in turning this year. This red maple normally turns color at the end of August. Too much rain and hot, humid weather.
A weird light at sundown. The camera didn't quite catch it
Heavy rains and the ground so wet, the windchimes fell over. Tiny bunny didn't mind. Just ate around them.
The mums didn't get planted into the rail boxes. Forse domani. Maybe tomorrow.
The large mum looking good.
Little purple flowers trying to hang on to Summer just like me.
Full moon through the trees. A reflection off the lens looks like an eye
Full moon. Or is that Saturn? 😉
How does your garden grow?
Your garden is looking good. The pics I took of the full moon looked like Saturn, too. My petunias are still doing well, and the crocuses are blooming again. Have a great week, Valerie
ReplyDeleteOh, I'll have to go check to see if the crocus here are coming up again
DeleteIt’s been a strange gardening year to be sure. Challenging for even experienced gardeners.
ReplyDeleteAnd imagine how hard for those of us who have no clue

A mix of sad to see some of the plants dying and oh look, pretty leaves! lol ;)
ReplyDeleteLeaves are only pretty when you don't have to rake 😺
DeleteBeautiful photos! I was wondering, are your pics being re-arranged by Blogger when you pre-write your posts or while you are posting them? I was just curious if that was the issue for some reason because mine do sometimes WHILE I am writing the post and when I look at the preview, I have to fix them, but I always post right after I check everything.
ReplyDeleteThe rearrangement happens when I upload multiple images. Even though the images are numbered, for example, img01, img02, img03, img04, they will appear in backwards order. Img04, img03, img02, img01. So my story is told backwards. I haven't had issues with Blogger rearranging images while I am composing the post.
DeleteMy eggplants were done, but I still have little tomatoes too. I know, leaves are late here too. Just today I noticed a little bit of color. LIke they are just starting. Your garden looks great CJ. So do the MUms, even if they didn't get planted in the photos. Happy new week.
ReplyDeleteHopefully, they won't get pot bound and die before the season is finished.
DeleteYour mums look better than mine. Love them. Sorry about your wind chimes. That eye reflection I thought looked like an apple (like the ones on the back of a laptop computer.
ReplyDeleteThe Apple logo has a bite taken out of it. A nod to Alan Turing, a major player for cryptoanalysis during WWII and he's considered the father of theoretical computer science and artificial intelligence. Convicted of being gay. Later committed suicide by cyanide poisoning. A half eaten apple was discovered by his bed according to legend. A sad story and ending to a very brilliant person.
DeleteI was going to add aster this year but didn't see any... I'll look for seeds for spring. Your flowers are still looking good. It's nice to have plants that make a good transition from summer to fall.
ReplyDeleteAsters. I never thought of them. That's a good idea.
DeleteI did enjoy seeing your photographs.
ReplyDeleteNice to see the bees, the eggplants and pepper.
Awww I always enjoy seeing bunny :)
Take care
All the best Jan
I love watching the bunnies.
