1. Had a nice long chat about dealing with Weebles (elderly parents) with my cousin on the heart from Portland, OR
2. The new clock with the moon phases arrived.
3. Had a nice long chat with my friend, Red
4. Finished the Celebration of Life invitation
5. After Himself's doctor's visit we stopped at Uno's for deep dish pizza.
How was your week?
That card is adorable. Sounds like a good week. Uno's deep dish pizza is delicious.
ReplyDeleteI'm partial to the Chicago Classic: sausage and tomato.
DeleteLove the card. Pizza sounds good, too. I Just had a cheese roll for lunch. Enjoy your day!
ReplyDeleteSounds like you had a nice lunch
DeleteGlad to hear you had a good week. :D
ReplyDeleteI hope you had a good week as well
DeleteSounds like a wonderful week! Lots of catching up with people and your new clock sounds fabulous, so interesting that it has the moon phases on it 😁. Take care and wishing you a wonderful weekend! Hugs Jo x
ReplyDeleteI'm a sucker for the bells and whistles
DeleteA wonderful week indeed.
ReplyDelete😊
Deletesounds good - ...i never had to deal with elderly parents ..at least when they got really old. mom left at 60 and dad 78, and because he had a new girlfriend he remained fairly healthy until the last year and she took care of him.
ReplyDeleteIt’s an experience especially when Elders are dealing with dementia
DeleteNice week CJ. Isn't it great to catch up with people? Have a great start to your weekend.
ReplyDeleteYeah, it was really nice catching up with friends
DeleteSounds like a good week. I use speaker phone so I never get a sore ear. I am NOT a thick pizza fan. Give me the thin crust any day. However, that's why they make all kinds of pizza and all styles. Sounds like a no-cook day was great, too.
ReplyDeleteNo cook days are always great
DeleteGreat card, I so feel it! My Bro/Nieces never find an end on the phone ;-)
ReplyDeleteThis week was so-so...
Hopefully, next week will be better.
DeleteNew Clock With The Moon Phases Perked My Ears - Have A Wonderful Weekend
ReplyDeleteCheers
I got the Moon Phase Atomic Clock from Amazon And since you live practically next door to Tick, the Atomic Clock in Fort Collins, the clock would set the correct time automatically.
DeleteI wish I'd had some support in dealing with my mom *sigh* Now I wonder how best to make it easy on my own kids.
ReplyDeleteooo, lunch out and pizza, hoorah! I'm glad lunch out happened :)
The problem is until someone has dealt with an Elder either with dementia or in a frail condition, they have no clue what you go through. Personally, I think most of us will end up in some sort of care facility. Perhaps keeping an open mind about that possibility will make it easier if children have to put Elders in a care facility.
DeleteI try to look on eldercare facilities as dorms for the aged ;) but the pandemic has made me less agreeable. I am trying to maintain my health, so maybe I can postpone frailty...
DeleteThat's an even better attitude
DeletePleased you had a good week.
ReplyDeleteOurs was a good one, but it seemed to fly by!
I do like that card.
All the best Jan
