I love how chickadees are so interactive. Compared to most wild birds who fly off. It was a good pick for a state bird. Ours in NH is the purple finch, which has a really pretty song. Happy weekend.
We have those here - and I've spent many moments photographing them - but they fly away quick if they see you watching them. at least here. But then we had quite a few outside cats at one time hanging outl

DeleteWe get chickadees, but they are seasonal on our patio. They are such fun to watch! Our state bird is the mockingbird.
