How Does Your Garden Grow?

Purrfect weather

The calm before

the storm

Petunias and Verbena

A monarch butterfly stopped by and posed for me

Morning glories seeded themselves in Ink's garden

A green thing, maybe squash?

Tomatoes with purple basil and eggplant with marigold

Himself planted broccoli, and he doesn't even like it

Peas or beans getting tall. If these are beans I hope they lead to the goose that lays the golden eggs

Take my picture!
Okay, smile.

More hanging plants

A patch of Bluets

Right after I took the Sea of Green. Lawn guy came to mow.

Alpine Bells

  1. Looking good. And nice to have a monarch. I haven't seen one yet, not the viceroy either. It's like a jungle here. Out of control growth. and too many mosquitoes. Enjoy the day!

  3. Well i say your garden grows very well CJ... I would plant broccoli and brussel sprouts just to see them grow.. lol Very unusual plants i think.. I hope you'll show us a picture of the broccoli when mature.. My garden? What garden? lol BUT they are scraping the lot next to us to build and i tried to get over there and scavenge some native plants before they did but i was too late.. But i grabbed 4 yucca looking things where they had broke them off at the roots.. i'm thinking native things are pretty darn hardy.. Maybe if i stick them in the ground and keep the soil moist they might make it... the jury is still out.. Hugs! deb

  8. Your garden is doing great. I planted brocolli seeds, but some critter dug them AND my sunflower seeds up. It was either a squirrel or a couple of bunny rabbits I saw playing in the yard recently.

Lucky you to see a monarch and Quill looks so happy to be having his photo taken.

    1. Too bad about your broccoli. I'm sad we haven't seen bunnies in the yard this year.
