How Does Your Garden Grow?

Uh oh, what's this?

Timex stops by

to entertain Quill and Calli

A crow or a raven perched on the twig

No, it's not a 2 seater outhouse. It's a little shed

A solar gazing globe for the Zensical garden

I've been trying to get a photo of the lone bumblebee all week. She doesn't like having her picture taken, but I finally caught up with her enjoying the flowers of the Common Bugle.

Hanging basket called Morning Skies

Companion plants to keep bugs away. Marigolds for the tomatoes, Dill, Thyme, and Purple Basil for some other green things.

Plants for some hanging baskets

Petunia and Verbena

The petunia is called Queen of Hearts

New Guinea Impatiens under the Japanese maple

Lily of the Valley. Their fragrance is heavenly

Blossoms on the snowball bushes

Another snowball watches from the window

Another hanging basket. This one called Plum Crazy

  1. Your garden is looking good, and great that the kitties have entertainment! My bacony is now looking better with marigolds and lobelia and some plants I don't know! Enjoy your Sunday, Valerie

    1. Plant Net lets you upload pix of plants to identify. There's also an app for your phone

  2. It's so exciting to see everything getting green, isn't it? I've bought plants too. But no new shed for me. That will come in very handy. And if Calli and Quill need any chipmunks to entertain them, I can ship you a few-smile. Your flowers look pretty. Happy Sunday and stay cool. hugs-Erika

  4. I just love those striped petunias i've seen this year.. There seems to be two camps when it comes to petunias.. either you love them or you hate them and i'm in the LOVE CAMP.. any and all varieties.. especially the ones that smell.. they can be hard to find.. My grandpa used to line the edge of his garden with Marigolds.. he said it kept the rabbits away! This is also the man that wore a knotted on all corners red handkerchief on his head to keep the gnats away.. :) Hugs! deb

    1. I love petunias. They come in so many colors. They tolerate the heat and last until Fall. Oh! So that's what the knotted corners are for!

  9. How pretty it all is! I enjoy seeing the native bees. We had a chipmunk yesterday that climbed our potted redbud tree to the top and used that as a launch point to jump to the top of the fence lol

    1. She's the only bee that I have seen in the yard. Chippies are so funny

  10. Is that a Rubbermaid shed? I have a larger one and it had to go on a wooden stand so it didn't buckle. Mine is much larger, though.

Your gardens are looking beautiful. My lilies of the valley have all bloomed and died back already. Looks like you are ready for a colorful summer.

    1. Yes, that's a Rubbermaid shed. Hopefully, he won't be saying we need a bigger boat (reference is from the movie, "Jaws" 😸
