The Friday Five Good Things

Five good things that happened this week.

1. We tried a new Chinese food place. We ordered a day ahead to beat the rush. The food was delivered by Door Dash because no one felt up to going to pick the food up

2. New Year's Day began at midnight with New Years wishes to and from the Eldest. She went to a light show at the Philadelphia Zoo

3. After spending the day in the ER with the Young One, the good things were  all her test results were normal and the prescription for the Prilosec was a zero copay

4. Made plans with Teague for a play day at the end of the month.

5. We watched two fun movies. Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery and Bullet Train

How was your week?

On this twelth day after Christmas, or Ephiphany depending on your reckoning

  2. Except for hubby's knee bothering him its been a good week CJ.. Your's sounds good as well.. Everybody on the mend.. I've seen both those movies and was disappointed with them both.. You'd think i'd learn.. I just do not have a funny bone and didn't care for the silliness in them.. I wish they had taken the same concept and made a more serious movie.. if that makes any sense.. lol We had Chinese food this week too... at a buffet.. YUM! I hope this next week everyone at your house is back on their feet.. Hugs! deb

  3. Wow. Food and no cooking. Sorry (again) about the youngest having to spend her (and your) entire day in the ER. I think I need Netflix (grin).

  4. We watched both of those movies last week. I loved Glass Onion. Bullet Train was very good. Not a bad week for you, except your emergency room time. But at least the results were good. Yes, snow here today, they say 1-3 inches. I'm hoping it is more on 1" side. Hope you don't get too much ice. that is the worst. hugs-Erika

  6. Now I crave Chinese food!
But made tomato sauce and Ingo got meat and now spaghetti! Sounds more Italian-like ;-)
    (I have fresh basil).

The Zoo is a great idea!

Yay for your Young One´s outcome, health and money-wise!

    And for fun.

Here... so-so. Sick week 3 or 4 - no idea no more. Guess I´m dumb and every time I got a bit better overdid it.
    My own fault...
