Whatcha Doin?
On this tenth day after Christmas, or eleventh day of Christmas depending on your reckoning, I'm starting to take down Christmas decorations. Whatcha doin?
I used to think it would be fun to keep the decorations up all year. Like Mrs. Claus, but then I started thinking about all the dusting. All the decorations will be down by 3 Kings' Day
I used to enjoy putting things away after Christmas and thinking about how nice the holiday had been until I started having to do it alone. Then it was just sad.....so now the Charlie Brown tree goes up (and comes down) in a blink and it makes me smile going both ways! 🤣
One of these years i will be doing the same .. Hubby made that wooden tree this year and i think eventually it will become our only tree.. It folds up flat to be put away after the Holidays.. I'm sitting here with my coffee, hubs just went out to his shop.. We are thinking of hitting the driving range later but with 20mph winds that might not be the best idea...lol Hugs! deb
Right now I'm trying to get warm. Fortunately all my decorations have been put away for several days. It's hard getting my big tabletop trees in bags while wearing two pairs of gloves, but I kept warm by moving when I did it.
Ozdoby będę zdejmować pod koniec stycznia.

DeleteI'm trying to figure out what's going on today. I was supposed to walk, but it looks a little wet. Have fun taking down the holiday decor. hugs-Erika
ReplyDeleteWe have lots of fog. A good day for art and a nap

ReplyDeleteI'm getting to that point myself. I'm looking longingly at those retro ceramic Christmas trees

ReplyDeleteEventually, I'll get to a minimalist point in holiday decor.
