How Does Your Garden Grow?

From the Green Animals Topiary Garden in Portsmouth, Rhode Island

The fences around the garden had giraffes carved in them

Some butterflies or moths enjoying the sunshine

Looking across.  In the middle is a Sailing ship

Yew Rooster. I thought it looked more like a Rubber Ducky

Spot, the dog

I thought it looked more like a cat. There's a heart to his right.

Baby Giraffe

Spot, again. Still looks like a cat to me

A peacock

Baby Bear and Mama Bear

Koi pond

Duck, Swan, Basket,

Growly Bear.

Horse and Rider.

A few roses hanging on.

How does your garden grow?

That was wonderful CJ! It DID look like a cat...lol Thank you! I just trimmed up my SunFlowers for the last time yesterday... They look pretty good and there are still some big buds on there... predicting rain for us today/tomorrow, fingers crossed ... if so some of those buds might open... after that once they start to look rough again i'm taking them down.. TIMBER!!! lol They have been so great this year... bringing in the bees, birds, butterflies... loved it.. Hugs! deb

I hope you get the rain. We've had way too much. Hopefully, next Spring, I can plant the sunflower seeds you sent.

It was a delightful place to walk around, I've never seen so many animal topiaries before.

thecontemplativecat here. The only topiaries I have seen were at Disneyland. Your photos captured them well.

I can't even imagine the maintenance a topiary garden requires. Wonderful figures!

What a fun place to visit. Teddy said he loves the bears best. ;-) - Anne (Cornucopia)

The hours and patience waiting for the boxwood to grow around a wire frame so it could be trimmed to a shape.

I loved the bears best, too. Teague and I got our picture taken in front of them

All those topiaries must take a long time to keep looking good. I thought that was a cat, too.
