The Friday Five Good Things

Five good things that happened this week.

1. Chat with The Young One. She was delighted to receive the package I sent with Chai tea pods for the Keurig machine, some  Holiday Joy tea I think she might like. 6 small battery lanterns in case they lose electricity, an embroidery kit and a pair of Muk Luks I found that she forgot to pack

2. Play day with Teague and lunch at the Wayside Inn.

3. Started a New Electronic Good Things Journal

4. First Footed for the First Time in 37 years!

5. Quill and I watched a documentary on what goes on in the minds of cats. He was very interested

How was your week?

  1. My week was good through Wednesday when I started feeling sick. :( I'm glad you had a nice week. I haven't been to the Wayside Inn in a very long time. Do I dare ask how much snow if in your forecast?

  3. Such fun to make up boxes to send filled with things you KNOW someone will love.. Its become so expensive to mail things these days though... It stops me from doing alot.. Often times the cost to mail something costs more than the item itself.. and i just cannot do that.. I'm so glad you had such a wonderful week CJ! Ours has been cold and dreary , even some rain.. But today the Sun is shining and promises to be a beautiful warmer day.. if the Wind does not blow me to Timbuktu!! :) Hugs! deb

  4. Your week sounds good. I was mostly at home and painted and read or listened to books. Happy weekend!

  5. Crazy you seem to lose electricity all the time. Has never happened here, yet we also have torches and Ingo bought candles for in case...! Weirdo that. But fun to send packages and have good food with friends.
I enjoyed cooking, had nice chats with a new executive, and old colleagues and we finally found a design solution and I got so much done! Exhausting, though.

    1. Many of our communities have their power lines above ground. I don't have any candles because of the kitties. Ink loved to knock things off tables so I stopped using candles when we got him. The Young One's Beau has a kitty at the apartment.

    All the best Jan
