USPS Postage Increase


United States Postal Service has announced another postage increase to take place on January 21, 2024. 

First class postage will now be 68 cents (two cent increase) 

Postcards will now cost 53 cents. 

International postcards and letters will cost $1.55 per ounce

The last postage increase was in July 2023.

  2. Same here, it costs more and they do less. But your postage is much decheaper than ours.

    1. It's true that our rates are still less expensive than other countries, but this is the second price increase in 6 months.

  3. Another advantage to paying bills online. I remember back in the days when I didn't live in Memphis and had small children, and I would write updates to Mother every day. Yikes! At these postal prices that'd be expensive!

  5. Postage... I bought something for €5, it was NOT heavy, not bulky. Postage to USA €20. Hello??? Result: won´t do that again. If every body did...hmmm, think again German Post!

    1. About the only bill I don't pay online is the oil delivery. I could set up online bill pay, but by the time the bank cut his check I would lose the discount. Every penny helps

  7. Yes, postage has gone up in the UK too.
    I don't think there is anything where the price has gone down ... is there?
