Effects of the Full Moon

I got a new clock that is supposed to synchronize with the atomic clock, Tick, in Fort Collins, Colorado.  I guess I'm too far away as I had to set the clock manually. I did find an app that will supposedly boost the signal, but will have to try that at a later time.

I was trying to explain to Mr. Spock how a full moon just brings all the crazies out of the woodwork. Yesterday, two cars one right after the other, changed lanes in front of us without looking to see who was coming up behind. Trucks were driving in the passing lane where they are not supposed to be driving. The parking garage at the hospital was so full Himself couldn't park in the handicap spot and could barely find a regular parking space.

The effects of the full moon are with us for 9 days. Like a cold virus. 3 days coming, 3 days with you, 3 days leaving. We're also effected by a new moon which is just a full moon we can't see. I learned about and experienced this phenomenon when I worked in a hospital laboratory. Mr. Spock failed to see the logic. Dr. McCoy would.

So we still have a few more days of the full moon. Stay safe out there!

I didn't know the full moon effects lasted for 9 days. But as for the traffic, and actually being one myself, we both know about Mass drivers. Did you drive into Boston? It's much better here in NH most of the time, but I am glad I can turn on the Mass driver as needed. Smile. Happy Thursday. I hope we see a peek or 2 of sun today.

We were in Worcester. I hope we see some sunshine, too.

Maybe it just takes a while to synchronize?
Here we have it like BOOM as "we" make the time for Europe here in Braunschweig :-)

Oh, I hate driving (and parking) like really. Dumb people all over. Not only at the full moon. I´m not a Bricklayer, but I do think it´s permanent!

Yup, the full moon 'crazies' are for real! Having had jobs that dealt with 'the public' you learned it firsthand! :-/

That might be an explanation why I feel like I do just now! Stay safe! Valerie

9 days huh? That's a long time.....Especially when Mr. Spock doesn't see the logic;)

Congrats on the weight loss.

Nope, it's not pulling in the signal so I had to manually set the time.

Yup. Customer service jobs are the pits!

Things will be improving soon.

18 if you count the New Moon which is just a full moon we can't see.

I sort of fell off the wagon and it rolled over me. 😊

I have an atomic clock, and mine sets nicely. However, I have a clock that is supposed to be set for central time and no matter what I try, it is always on eastern time. I even set it for mountain time and I still got eastern time.

I'll have to tell Sally about the 9 days of "hell." Yesterday she called and told me she was in a car accident. The car in front of her was turning left. She was still behind the crosswalk, but was turning, too. A car from the opposite direction ran into the car in front of her and pushed it into her car. Now she must get hers fixed. More on that later, I guess. Glad all was at least well with you two, even though your hubby had to walk at the hospital.

wow, interesting. I use to notice changes in behavior when I lived more around people than I do now. Instead, now , I noticed I havd to get up like four or five times to go to the bathroom. always happens during full moon cycles..tides and all that i guess.

😺i have that happen whether it’s a full moon or not

This explains how werewolves aren't just a problem one day of the month.

I can't keep up with days much less need atomic accuracy on clocks lol

It's amazing how days can just run into each other and all that other timey-wimey stuff. 😺
