Day 3, 4, 5

Monday, the electrician and the contractor arrived. We had a brief walkthrough of the project. Talked about the placement of light switches, underfloor heating thermostat, washer/dryer outlets, and fixtures. The electrician got busy with drilling and running upstairs and down tugging and fishing wire through the walls.

As an aside, when the men are working, I haven't heard anyone yell "Horses' patoot!" and then make a trip to the hardware store as Himself sometimes does when involved with a home improvement project.

While the electrician was working, the plumber and the plumbing inspector arrived. The plumber's work got a two thumbs way up for compliance to the code. The plumber signed off on the permit. We breathed a sigh of relief.

The electrician finished part one. His work is waiting for the electricial inspector who will be arriving sometime today.
