1. On a trip to Jo-Ann's fabrics, I found a wreath stand. These have been hard to find and needed when I bring the Christmas wreath to the cemetery.
2. Sucker for a black cat, I found a cute black cat door mat.
3. Received some happy mail from Stacy at Magic Love Crow.
4. The Eldest made a nice, steak dinner.
5. Today is World Smile Day. To participate, do an act of kindness and make one person smile, and carry that sentiment through the rest of the year.

I used to be like your eldest. There wasn't anything I wouldn't try. Now I'm like your youngest and prefer to keep the heat out by making everything in the microwave. In fact, when I first started out, I didn't even own a stove, but had a microwave that cost more than one of those fancy 52" curved TV sets. It was almost as big, too (I hope that tidbit of info put a small smile on your face!).
The cat mat was a good impulse score as it was on sale. Though truth be told, I probably would have paid full price for it. Was so glad we won't have to run around crazy looking for the wreath stand. I wish the cemetery would set them aside for the season the way they leave the cone vases during the year. :-D I remember having a microwave like that.
