Saturday Afternoon at the Movies

This idea came from a Facebook meme:
Over 10 days, post your 10 all time favorite films. What movie has really made an impact on you or what films can you watch over and over and never tire of? Post either the movie poster, DVD cover or even a screenshot on your timeline. No need to explain.

Only I had a hard time picking out just 10 movies so my favorites over the next few hundred Saturdays 😸 in semi-alphabetical order:me favorite films. 3. Anything with Robert Redford, including his most recent films, is worth watching several times! Happy Saturday. Stay dry.

  4. I never really understood all the hoopla about Fitzgerald's writing. I guess you had to be of that era to 'get it'.

    1. This is the only work of Fitzgerald's that I've read several times. I found his prose lyrical and romantic

  5. I've read this book -a tragic tale- but don't remember seeing this film. I'll have to keep an eye out for it. Thx!

    1. Really? There was a huge hype of this film in 1974. Pastel suits and shirts for men, even pots and pans.

  6. I've heard of the book, but didn't know they made a movie of it. I don't seem to get out much, I guess. It appears to be a well liked film, though.
