New Word of the Day

 


Bright light is one of my migraine triggers especially sunlight off snow or the pavement. Himself told me reflective light off a surface is called albedo. If you need to know how to calculate the albedo:

  2. Just looking at that formula gave me a headache. It is very bright out recently, now that we finally have sunshine again. I've been wearing my sunglasses when I go outside.

  4. I remember this from college physics. NOT the formula but the word. (My calculus knowledge is long long long gone.) But thanks for reminding me of the word, and I hope you haven't had any migraines lately.

  6. My old boss sure´d loved this post. Well, not the migraine part of course... (really, acupuncture helped me, I´m migraine free since ...? 1999? And I had it real bad)

  10. SO sorry to read about you getting migraines. I had no idea. I DO like the word, which I somehow remember from physics and the formula, which I know from calculus. Those were the good old days.
