Nature artist, Jackson Pollock Frost better known as Jack Frost created another stunning painting on glass. He transforms delicate crystals into bold strokes of a frozen world.
When asked about this latest creation, Jack stated he liked the ephemeral beauty of his jagged mountain range of a parallel world or a glimpse into the past when this area was in the depths of an ice age. "It's all left up to the viewer for them to see and interpret."
Frost's painting, Diamond Mountains is now on view for a limited engagement in the Sun Room. Click on the image to enlarge and view from the comfort and safety of your home.

DeleteFabulous, love the artistry in the snow! We've had a few snow flurries today but they didn't last very long so nothing has settled 😁. Have a great new week! Hugs, Jo x
ReplyDeleteI could handle that kind of snow
Deletenice capture CJ; it is amazing how frost will wind on a surface; tho I'd rather not see it....this is still a great photo !! ☺☺♥3
ReplyDeleteI don't mind seeing frost. I'd rather not see any snow
Deletewow i have never had this happen on my windows. I get icycles but not a Jackson Pollock original ...very cool. What is the temp there when this happens. My son just sent me a FB message with the temp on his phone. it -9 and I don't even know what that would feel like. i do remember experiencing 5 degrees when we lived in the other mountain town before this one.
ReplyDeleteI didn't look at the temp. this morning, but according to the weather report, we were probably around 13 or 14 oF as we are in a cold spell and more snow for this week. -9 feels like 🥶
Deletewell i've been in that temp before but never had a jackson pollock on my window. darn.
DeleteI love this. It is quite modern and a striking design. Let's hope it run on the window is only for few more days. Smile. Happy new week. Hugs-Erika
ReplyDeleteI don't mind the frost on the windows, but I could do without all the snow predicted for the week.
DeleteI enjoyed your post :)
ReplyDeleteIt's cold here in the UK ... more warming soup I think!
All the best Jan
Today was definitely a soup or stew day. We had leftover chicken and (chicken and sweet potato) andouille sausage gumbo.
