T Stands for Lambie Juice Box Holder

Cleaning out the back of a cupboard, I found the juice box holder the Eldest took to school when she was little. The holder isn't made of recyclable plastic, and I hated to throw it away. What to do? Bring it into the studio as a fun accessory to  hold pens, pencils, etc.

Drop by hosts, Bleubeard and Elizabeth's blog to find out what the rest of the T Stands For gang is up to. If you want to play, include in your Tuesday post a beverage or container for a beverage. Don't forget to link your blog to Bleubeard and Elizabeth's page.

  2. Fun to use something with good memories attached. I like the pen in the shape of a cat in the hat, too.

    1. The Cat in the Hat pencil topper was a souvenir from a trip to the Dr. Seuess Museum in Springfield, MA where Ted Geisel was from. It was attached to a pen, but the pen leaked.

  4. This is a good use and much better than just adding it to all the trash that's already out there. It is cute. Have a great T day CJ! Storm due here today, and hope you don't get any strong ones. Hugs-Erika

  5. Well, you know the old saying....'use it up, wear it out, make it do or do without'. Good for you for being so eco friendly! Added side benefit is you get to see a reminder of the girlies when they were littles! Win/win! :)

    1. Lots of happy memories with this item. My dad gave the Eldest a Lambie the day he came to visit her when she was born. It turned out to be her favorite lovey and she still has it.

  9. Never did I ever know there was such a thing as a juice box holder! How did I miss this. I use to go to places like Pic and Save, Target, Walmart, all the places I might have seen something like this. Anyway, what a cute idea to use it for.

    1. The juice box holders prevent the littles from squeezing the boxes on the wrong side spurting juice through the straw. All those places carried them. Maybe juice manufacturers have improved the boxes or the holders aren't in fashion anymore.

    1. They did 30 some odd years ago. Maybe everyone now just uses re-usable bottles.

  12. I've never heard of a juice box holder, but that is a very clever way to recycle that non-recyclable plastic. What a sweetie and a great memory to go with it. Thanks for sharing it with us for T this Tuesday, dear CJ.

  17. Totally cute juice box holder and it is perfect as a pen holder! I am sure you will smile when you look at - thinking of your daughter when she was small. I have a power puff girl keychain that was my daugher's when she was little and I hug it tight some days. Precious post. Happy late T-day!
