While shopping at the bargain store, Himself found a fun bubble machine that he thought the Grandniece would like.
Our girlies loved playing with bubbles, and I must have made oceans of bubble solution. So I thought I'd include a receipe.
I made a booklet out of one sheet of paper (Canson 90 lb. Mixed Media paper) with a soap bubble recipe. Heaven forbid one writes directions on a scrap of paper or index card. 😺
The Niece-in-Law kindly sent a video clip of G and her Baby Brother enjoying the bubbles.
Yes! Bubbles are so much fun! But the bubble solution doesn't last long, so you're own recipe is nice :)
ReplyDeleteWe went through oceans of bubble solution so I was really glad to be able to make my own.
DeleteThat looks like fun! (....presentation is EVERYTHING!) :D
ReplyDeleteEspecially from the crazy aunt that makes arty stuff
DeleteThis is really lovely, I would have fun with the bubbles, too! Valerie
ReplyDeleteBubbles scream happiness, don't they?
DeleteAwww, what a really cool idea! Bubbles are always a child favorite. :)
ReplyDeleteThey are just so fun
Deletebubbles were always so much fun when we were kids; I even remember years later, some company making a wand that the bubbles ending up being the size of basketballs practically !!! ♥♥
ReplyDeleteoh, by the way, only you, and a couple of others picked up on the Klingon bird of prey !!!! ☺☺☺
We had the giant bubble maker too when the girlies were little. It was awesome! Also a trip to a children's museum and they had an exhibit where the kid stood in big basin of bubble solution and a wand was pulled up over them so they would be standing inside a bubble! And Star Trek rules.
DeleteWell I just learned how to make bubbles. Thanks, CJ:)
ReplyDeleteThey key is the glycerin. The glycerin stabilizes the bubble and makes it last longer.
DeleteWhat a cool gift! I'm sure your grandnieces will love it,I wouldn't mind it myself ...lol 😀. Enjoy the rest of your week! Hugs, Jo x
ReplyDeleteI was just thinking the next time Himself goes to the bargain store, to pick up a bubble machine for me. 😺
DeleteBubbles are such fun at any age!
ReplyDeleteAll the best Jan
