How Does Your Garden Grow?

Red sky at night and the woods look like they're on fire.

Letting the sun melt the snow off the roof of the car was a good idea. Only had to push the slop off the windshield. And then

we had a dusting of snow

Still Winter.

What's this? Daffodil shoots. A sign of Spring?

Some melting of snow

Still snow on the roof

Bunny trail in the snow

Snow across the back Tundra. Still Winter.

Snow melting from the Southern array

Melting snow forming a cascade of icicles on the honeysuckle vine.

How does your garden grow?

  1. We saw flowers outside today! They still looked a bit sad but sure a sign of spring! And "wild" snowdrops, too, if only few.

  2. After a few days of above-freezing temps we finally see the ground, though it’s very brown and ugly. I hope we soon have the day when the grass greens up!

  3. We had 2 dustings last week. It was a tough weather week with the cold and those light snows. Time for spring. The rain might help get rid of some snow.We have too much right now. Looks like you do too. Happy Sunday CJ!

  4. My hydrangea is budding, and I'm having a hard time resisting going ahead and planting zinnia seeds.

  6. The trees really look like they are on fire. Good to see the daffs sprouting, that's a hopeful sign. Valerie

  8. Just when I was getting used to warmer weather, we are now back in the deep freeze. No snow, though. Your garden grows silently, but is taking in all that moisture winter gives it.

  9. Always enjoy your photos. Do you have some good hiking trails around you - somewhere in that forest or elsewhere?

    1. I am a mile or so away from Purgatory Chasm. The chasm was formed during the last ice age. I haven't been there since we went with my nephew and my girlies when they were little

The place where my wife and I live, I thought we were done with the snow, until last night when I looked out our window!
