Red sky at night and the woods look like they're on fire.
Letting the sun melt the snow off the roof of the car was a good idea. Only had to push the slop off the windshield. And then
we had a dusting of snow
Still Winter.
What's this? Daffodil shoots. A sign of Spring?
Some melting of snow
Still snow on the roof
Bunny trail in the snow
Snow across the back Tundra. Still Winter.
Snow melting from the Southern array
Melting snow forming a cascade of icicles on the honeysuckle vine.
How does your garden grow?
We saw flowers outside today! They still looked a bit sad but sure a sign of spring! And "wild" snowdrops, too, if only few.
ReplyDeleteHow pretty!
DeleteAfter a few days of above-freezing temps we finally see the ground, though it’s very brown and ugly. I hope we soon have the day when the grass greens up!
ReplyDeletebest… mae at maefood.blogspot.com
Hopefully, soon!
DeleteWe had 2 dustings last week. It was a tough weather week with the cold and those light snows. Time for spring. The rain might help get rid of some snow.We have too much right now. Looks like you do too. Happy Sunday CJ!
ReplyDeleteYup, too much snow especially since two weeks ago there was no snow on the ground.
DeleteMy hydrangea is budding, and I'm having a hard time resisting going ahead and planting zinnia seeds.
ReplyDeleteIs it too early to plant zinnia seeds in Tennessee?
DeleteThe sky really does look like it's on fire! (so sorry you're still suffering the white stuff....)
ReplyDeleteEnjoy the warm temps and the sunshine for me
DeleteThe trees really look like they are on fire. Good to see the daffs sprouting, that's a hopeful sign. Valerie
ReplyDeleteI was surprised to see the daffs. Maybe an early Spring afterall.
DeleteStill dirt.... with a few weeds poking through...lol sigh.. this yard needs alot of work.. We actually had a sprinkle of rain overnight... WHAT??!! lol Hugs! deb
ReplyDeleteWe need to do a lot of landscaping, too
DeleteJust when I was getting used to warmer weather, we are now back in the deep freeze. No snow, though. Your garden grows silently, but is taking in all that moisture winter gives it.
ReplyDeleteWe're having a bit of a warmup today
DeleteAlways enjoy your photos. Do you have some good hiking trails around you - somewhere in that forest or elsewhere?
ReplyDeleteI am a mile or so away from Purgatory Chasm. The chasm was formed during the last ice age. I haven't been there since we went with my nephew and my girlies when they were little
DeleteIt really does look like there's fire in those woods!
ReplyDeleteThe place where my wife and I live, I thought we were done with the snow, until last night when I looked out our window!
More snow makes me want to cry
DeleteGoing back to my earlier comment - still glad we don't get deep snow but this is so beautiful Chrisxx
ReplyDeleteIt's pretty until you have to shovel it 😺
DeleteSnow, snow, go away and come back some other ... no wait ... never come back! lol
ReplyDeleteWe lost our internet from an outage all day yesterday so I am trying to catch up.
We've had a cold day (no snow) but nice sunny skies ...
ReplyDeleteYes, the woods do look like they're on fire in your first photograph ... amazing.
All the best Jan
The beautiful sky does look like it's on fire - amazing! Brrr, all that snow looks so cold, I hope you're staying warm 😀. Take care! Hugs Jo x
