It's perfect for an afternoon cuppa, dessert, and especially good for breakfast.
Hey! Where's my cake?

ReplyDeleteHave a happy T-Day!
Cuddling the kitties is high in endorphins and low in calories.
DeleteCaraway seeds and raisins sound like a good combination, which I don't think I've seen before.

A sweet and savory flavor
DeleteThat sounds like a great recipe. I like soda bread but it does seem to go stale pretty fast-especially when only 2 people are eating it. This one sounds like it might last a bit longer, that is, if it isn't gobbled up. Happy T day CJ.
ReplyDeleteThis bread doesn't have time to go stale because it's eaten so fast.
Deleteyour soda bread looks delicious CJ thanks for sharing
ReplyDeleteHappy T and Spring
😊
DeleteThat bread looks delicious! I've never had that kind of bread before. I can just imagine how good that would taste with a hot cup of coffee or tea!
ReplyDeleteIt's perfect
DeleteFabulous post! The soda bread looks so good, I can see why Calli and Quill would want a piece (ha, ha!) 😁. Happy T Day! Hugs Jo x

DeleteI often make soda bread wither savoury or sweet. Since there are only 2 of us, I freeze half immediately.
ReplyDeleteI should do that. Next time.
DeleteNow that looks like a really delicious soda bread! And your Callie and Quill are so sweet looking. Happy T day!
ReplyDeleteSweet until they get the zoomies

ReplyDeleteEnjoy!
DeleteI like that you used two types of raisins as well as the caraway seeds. Nice recipe and I can see why it goes so quickly at your house. Thanks for sharing it and your tea in Ink's mug with us for T this Tuesday, dear CJ.
ReplyDeleteI suppose you can use any kind of dry fruit to customize the recipe.

ReplyDeleteHappy Tea Day,

I always thought caraway seeds were a trademark of Irish soda bread. Maybe it’s just here in Boston
DeleteI love the caraway seeds in the soda bread (the raisins not so much), it looks so good.
ReplyDeleteThis recipe would be very easy to customize
DeleteYummy bread, a cuppa with Ink's picture on it and sweet babies. What could be better?
ReplyDeleteDoesn’t get much better than that
