Today I need to go get some blood work done, get my allergy shots, run to BJ's and maybe (if I'm lucky) meet my husband for lunch. I'll give you a high five for getting a dumpster and doing a cleaning. We need more of that too. Have fun. Ha-ha.
We (especially my husband) have been doing some major cleaning, but we are taking it to the dump or into the garbage cans or to the Salvation Army a little at a time. Needing a dumpster -- that's MAJOR!
We had a dumpster to clean out my mom's house when she died (it was a family joke when she was still living, she was NOT amused....) I totally expect to find her waiting for me at the pearly gates, arms crossed, tapping her foot.....LOL
I guess that's the best way to get rid of it. I'm going to accumulate mine and put it out front in August when we have the annual clean-up. Last year was all about the bamboo. This year it will be about what stuff in various rooms I can get rid of.
Some things are necessary and that is one of them. :)
I had to take a PTO day today to take care of some things - my mom's FLMA paperwork for one and take my three hour online required PA Notary Pubic course and test for another. :P
Had a wonderful day out and about today.. Got some material for hubby to finish up his shop.. The roof is going on tomorrow!! Then we had a lunch out at Chilis and caught a matinee of the 'The Lost City'... meh... so so .. for us anyway.. A little to cheesy for me.. May be in the same venue as Romancing the Stone... but no the same caliber... Still i like adventure movies and this fit the bill... You must have alot to get rid of... !! Hugs! deb
Oh dumpster talk - okay here goes. When my kids were little and we were getting ready to move to our long time house we had a dumpster delivered. I went out one day and when i got home there was all kinds of crap that i didn't put in there. So i climbed in the dumpster found some mail with their address and marched over to their house. I was very bold in those days and I told them either get your "stuff" out of my dumpster or you'll be sorry when it lands in your yard some night. They came and got it.

Needing a dumpster is more because doing it a little at a time stuff was getting done too little. This way, there's no excuse.

ReplyDeleteWow! The nerve of some people! So far, no issues like that.
