How Does Your Garden Grow?

Another blazing sunset

Timex danced for Calli getting her all excited

Finally! All the snow is gone!

Oops! Spoke too soon.

Another dusting turned into 2 inches of snow

Finnegan doesn't mind dancing in the snow.

Snow all gone from the front yard on a foggy morning.

Snow almost gone from the back yard.

Ready for St. Patrick's Day

And the wind blew, and the snow came.

It's still Winter.

How does your garden grow?

  2. The temperatures have really been way up and way down in many places this week. I know the spring was far more advanced at this point in March in past years.

    1. This snowy and cold weather in March is typical for New England. Sad face.

  3. Just like here. But for some reason which I have yet to completely figure out, all the woods around my house can be bare but the backyard has snow. I juts hope this latest round melts as quickly as the snow from during the week. But today sounds, feels and looks like winter. UGH! Stay warm.

  4. We had another 'little' tornado (water spout on the beach really....but it counts! LOL) Windy and rainy all day yesterday. Cold enough to have to turn on the heat!

  5. To answer your question-WE got about 2 inches. I'm exited for a warm week so it will be gone, and hopefully, fingers and toes crossed, no more.

    1. Yup, all the snow should be gone this week. Hopefully, mud season won't last long

  6. Sorry that you can't shake winter off yet.
You may not want to read, but we have had a lovely spring-like day and the daffodils are looking so beautiful.

    Have a good new week.

    All the best Jan

  7. Oh, boy, how can that be, still snow?! Well, if it would rain it might be snow, too, it´s cold but the sun shines bright, the birds are singing.

    1. I've been hearing the birds singing in the mornings so Spring can't be too far behind.

  8. Our snow of about four inches melted quickly because, even though I slept through it, Sunday's temp broke a record for heat at 73 F. Too bad I was so sick I couldn't get out to enjoy it.

  9. We had some little bits of snow that lasted on our north-facing patio through yesterday. Sooo exciting! Today we're expecting highs in the mid-60s.

  10. you're fortunate you get to see the sunset at your place. I have too many trees and hills blocking the sunset. Once in awhile I get in the car and go out to the Rim of the hwy where we can see it - but not so much anymore. i use to quite a bit when we first lived up here. Surely your snow will melt and spring will come.

    1. Spring will arrive this week and so far, no snow predicted. No clue about what will happen next week.
