Little flowers
hanging on
inspite of the carpet of leaves
Still
a
riot
of color
The milkweed pods burst
Himself cleaned up his garden
and packed it way in the greenhouse
Most of the trees have lost their leaves
Look at the size of this oak leaf!
The November garden flag
November moon
But the temperatures this weekend are not November temperatures. I'm not complaining. If only temperatures would stay just like this through the Winter.
How does your garden grow?
Some flowers still stand up here!
ReplyDeleteAnd the leaves are still green at the neighbor´s.
Love your garden flag. And the moon. And mild temps. When is Spring again? ;-)
227 days until the Summer Solstice. 😊
DeleteYour garden looks good, love the carpet of leaves- Have a great day, Valerie
ReplyDeleteThe red leaves are really pretty
DeleteI still have some flowers blooming in my deck pots too. I've never had them doing that in November. What a gorgeous weekend. I hope you are enjoying it.
ReplyDeleteI'll go outside today and bring in all the garden gewgaws for the Winter
DeleteMy patio is covered with leaves blown in by Mother West Wind during a rain storm night before last. I wanted to see if I could use them as mulch by sweeping them into the flower beds, but there are just too _many_ of them lol It's cooler here than it has been but still not cold. It may not _get_ cold the way this fall is going.
ReplyDeleteI'd love it if it wouldn't get cold all Fall and Winter
DeleteWOW! That's some oak leaf!!!! Is climate change making things grow larger???? 🤣
ReplyDeleteIf it is, we're scrod when the bugs get big enough to stomp on us! 😺
DeleteBardzo ładna roślinność. Mam kawałek ogródka i wiem ile w nim jest pracy. Pozdrawiam.
ReplyDeleteTaking care of the garden is a lot of work, but Himself enjoys it. Me? Not so much.
DeleteWe've had gorgeous weather CJ. Next couple days will be in the 80's.. i could do without that... The leaves are beginning to turn here. We don't get much color but some.. I notice the sumac along the highway changing color.. Mostly we go from green to brown.. .. Hugs! deb
ReplyDeleteWe have been in the 70s the past couple of days. 80 degree weather year round would be perfect for me
DeleteThe garden is holding its own and even though they are a pain, your leaves are beautiful.
ReplyDeleteFor a year where the tree color was predicted to be dull because of the drought, the color was pretty spectacular
DeleteWhat most impressed me was the lovely carpet of stunning leaves. They were a riot of color and beauty. Your flowers are hanging on better than expected, I think. That oak leaf is a stunner. Such beauty indeed.
ReplyDeleteWe've had some unusually warm weather lately. I don't recall flowers hanging on this long
DeleteLovely. Regine
