How Does Your Garden Grow?

Another unusually, warm Fall day

Last week, the lawn guy came and cleared all the leaves

Bye bye Dianthus

The warm temps brought a ladybug visitor into the front porch

While filling the bird feeders, I noticed some flowers hanging on

It was a nice day to pick up the Zensical garden gewgaws and store them in the greenhouse

Rocky remains the lone guardian in the Zensical Garden

Morning glory seeds waiting to be harvested

  1. It's warm here, too. Morticia would love my balcony flowers, they're all dead!

  2. Everything looks good. And you mentioning seeds reminded me I STILL need to plant my Bleeding Heart seeds. Ugh. I love your Watcher, and Rocky.

  3. No garden to speak of... But i do remember a fun time i had with ladybugs in AR. One year some got into the house. It was about this time of year and i knew they were goners eventually.. But i wet a paper towel with some sugar water and they went to that thing like flies to honey.. And as long as that paper towel was wet they would stay.. One day i let it go dry and they vanished.. Interesting experiment though.. lol Hugs! deb

    1. Once it gets cold, they will go dormant until the Spring

  4. Your garden looks all ready to be tucked in for winter. My garden just looks straggly....but it's working hard on getting back to normal. :)

    1. Himself has done most of the tucking in. Just needs to wrap the blueberry bushes and clematis in bubble wrap. He's hoping that insulation will help them over winter

  6. It´s so cold here you see your breath - yet... some flowers withstand still! I think they are edible, but I won´t go for a 95%-guess ;-)
