Another unusually, warm Fall day
Last week, the lawn guy came and cleared all the leaves
Bye bye Dianthus
The warm temps brought a ladybug visitor into the front porch
While filling the bird feeders, I noticed some flowers hanging on
It was a nice day to pick up the Zensical garden gewgaws and store them in the greenhouse
My pretty Watcher
A spot of color
Rocky remains the lone guardian in the Zensical Garden
Morning glory seeds waiting to be harvested
New Guinea Impatiens that would make Morticia proud
How does your garden grow?
It's warm here, too. Morticia would love my balcony flowers, they're all dead!
ReplyDeleteYou'd take first prize in Morticia's garden competition
DeleteEverything looks good. And you mentioning seeds reminded me I STILL need to plant my Bleeding Heart seeds. Ugh. I love your Watcher, and Rocky.
ReplyDeleteI planted the bleeding heart seeds last month. I hope they grow next Spring
DeleteNo garden to speak of... But i do remember a fun time i had with ladybugs in AR. One year some got into the house. It was about this time of year and i knew they were goners eventually.. But i wet a paper towel with some sugar water and they went to that thing like flies to honey.. And as long as that paper towel was wet they would stay.. One day i let it go dry and they vanished.. Interesting experiment though.. lol Hugs! deb
ReplyDeleteOnce it gets cold, they will go dormant until the Spring
DeleteYour garden looks all ready to be tucked in for winter. My garden just looks straggly....but it's working hard on getting back to normal. :)
ReplyDeleteHimself has done most of the tucking in. Just needs to wrap the blueberry bushes and clematis in bubble wrap. He's hoping that insulation will help them over winter
DeleteIt was 19 F here this morning. The cats and I are snuggling. Glad you still have some green in your garden Even the leaves on the ground are colorful.
ReplyDeleteBrrrrr🥶 19 oF is definitely a 2 cat morning.
DeleteIt´s so cold here you see your breath - yet... some flowers withstand still! I think they are edible, but I won´t go for a 95%-guess ;-)
ReplyDeleteHello pretty Watcher!
We finally hit that kind of cold this morning 🥶
DeleteThe leaves are really falling at the moment!
ReplyDeleteIt's that time of year!
All the best Jan
All the leaves are pretty much down here.
