The Friday Five Good Things

Five good things that happened this week.

1. Teague and I planned tentative dates for Summer Camp Ogunquit

2. We celebrated Tolkien day by watching The Lord of the Rings.

3. Repairman supposed to show up, but getting close to dinner. We ordered from Tony's. I had a delicious meatball sub.

4. A wonderful piece of Happy Mail was waiting for me after I got home  from the dentist

5. Seems I can't take antibiotics. Dr. J, Himself,  and Benedryl came to the rescue

How was your week?

  2. I like planning get aways, and going to Ogunquit will be fun. I bet you're excited. I'm hoping this rain coming in will help with the melt which is still going on in my yard. Have a super Friday and weekend.

  3. I hear they're remaking LOTR, and I'm looking forward to it. Can't take antibiotics? Yikes! I hope you're doing fine after your dental appointment.

    1. Yeah, it seems I have reactions to a whole slew of antibiotics. Remaking LOTR? I loved the Jackson series. I didn't hear a LOTR remake, but saw there is an animated version called The Lord of the Rings: The War of the Rohirrim set to come out next year. It's about Helm's Deep 180 years before LOTR

    1. Yup, it is. And a lesson that I must keep it in the medicine cabinet and travel with it at all times.

    1. That's the way Benedryl works. I hope I'm done with the dentist for a long time, even if he's a great guy

  7. I've never taken anything more potent than an Ibuprofen. Sorry the dentist appointment was so stressful. The rest of your week sounds great, though. And another week with eating out or with take out (grin)!!

  8. thecontemplatecat here. Dentistry is much better than I recall from the 50s. Now going to the dentist is nothing, compared to that one. Illinois medicines in the 50s were minimal.
