Tuesday morning when I went to my little beach there were a flock of egrets hanging out across the way. This dude or dudette was alone on my side of the beach. I think s/he was hunting and eating the tiny crabs (what I call sea spiders) and having a sip of the salt water.

Lovely to see your egret out fishing for breakfast! Happy T Day, hugs, Valerie
Cool video CJ. And that makes a unique T day post too. Have a great one.
The egrets were so beautiful.
Egrets and herons really have such an appealing way to catch fish!
best, mae at maefood.blogspot.com
I thought it was a fun change of pace
And they do it so gracefully
A lovely place to go in the morning!
Happy Tea Day,
Kate
So peaceful! :)
Lovely, thanks for sharing the video. Yes Miss Lily is doing much better and she told me in no uncertain terms that she doesn't need a button to get her meaning across to the silly human lol. I agree they are very good communicators if we only just listen. Happy T Day! Elle xx
The little beach is my favorite spot on the island
Especially at sunrise 😺
So glad Miss Lily is doing better
What a unique and very clever way to share T this Tuesday, dear CJ.
Glad you enjoyed it
What a beautiful and stately bird! Happy T Tuesday
Very peaceful to watch - thanks for sharing this unique video, CJ. You always come up with interesting things! Happy T-day and hugz
We have a huge egret and heron population here. It is so much fun to watch them hunt and eat. Great video. Have a nice evening.
There was a 'thing' about Egrets some years back, all the 'twitchers' were out looking for them along the river banks and sea mud flats..now they are everywhere and have made themselves at home here, which is lovely! Happy Late T day!
((Lyn))
Egrets have made their homes down here in Southern Uk. At one time all the' twitchers' would be out hoping for a look at one, now they are very much at home here...Hope it lets me coment this time! Happy T day (Lyn)....nope...try again....nope, one more time!
They were so graceful
😊
I'd never seen them at the island and never as close as I was able to get.
Ah, I see you got the "fail to publish". I've found that if I refresh the page, it usually has gone through.
Tuesday's beach scene with egrets sounds serene. The lone hunter enjoying crabs (sea spiders) and a sip of saltwater—a simple beauty in nature's rhythm.
Happy belated T Day
S/he was so beautiful to watch
