T Stands for Anniversaries Dinner

The Brother's anniversary and our anniversary are a week apart. The Brother and his wife invited us out to dinner to celebrate. Since dinner was his treat, he chose A.J. Tomaiolo's Restaurant in Northbridge. We weren't familiar with the restaurant so he said look for the big rooster out front.

Just as he said, there was the big rooster. I thought that might be fun to relocate to the Zensical garden.

I had a glass of Prosecco and a variation on my favorite dish, Linguini a la Vongola. Linguini and clams in a red sauce. The restaurant had clam sauce and Mussels. Very nice. They also served delicious bread and a nice salad.

We were practically the only customers in the restaurant. So we had plenty of time to linger, chat, and laugh over the dinner. The Brother is hysterically funny so always a good time when we get together.

For dessert, I had Tiramisu and a cup of tea. Big Brother and SIL, if you are reading this, thank you again for a lovely evening.

Drop by hosts, Bleubeard and Elizabeth's blog to find out what the rest of the T Stands For gang is up to. If you want to play, include in your Tuesday post a beverage or container for a beverage. Don't forget to link your blog to Bleubeard and Elizabeth's page.

  2. Maddie's doggie day care has a good sized rooster statue like that. One of the owners is a big gardener and the rooster is part of her garden. I like it too.. Perhaps you can find one. And how fun to have a nice dinner like that to celebrate 2 anniversaries. How many years? And your dessert is right up my alley, as well as your dinner. Tiramisu is the best. I hope you have a fantastic T day. hugs-Erika

  4. Zensical is my portmanteau for Zen and whimsical. A Zen garden just seemed to serious for me. So I added fun figures like pink flamingoes, dragons. My style seems to be more whimsical. So a Zensical garden.

  7. Just commenting on your comment to me. :) You don't need to publish this if you don't want to. Those photos of Leominster were crazy. That had to be route 2 that looked like a river. Luckily nothing like that here. And if you and Teague ever take a ride to Pop's in the future let me know and I will meet you for lunch. :)

    1. I don't know about Route 2. There was a house in the (center) of town where a sink hole opened up and then the water destroyed the front steps and foundation! 😮Fortunately, the residents had been able to evacuate before the damage.

  8. You really can't miss the big rooster :-D
I love mussels! And I ate the best Spaghetti Vongole in a restaurant in Rome 10 years ago! (On two days in a row because they were so great...)
This all sounds like a very nice family meeting - congratulations to you all!
    All the best, Traude

    1. Linguini a la Vongole is my favorite meal. My mother used to make it, but she used canned clams. So having fresh clams beautifully plated is such a treat. I've eaten out at a few restaurants lately and have ordered the clams! 😺

  9. Oh my goodness. That is a HUGE rooster. I bet the Riverside owners would love it, too. Your meal looks wonderful. I would love the dessert, too. Sounds like it was the perfect evening for your dual anniversaries. Thanks for sharing this great food, Prosecco, and hot tea with us for T this Tuesday, dear CJ.
