From last week's posts about The Breakers, the Summer cottage of Cornelius Vanderbilt II, I forgot to include the link so you could take a virtual tour of the mansion.

    1. I love these photos of the mansion.
We are probably getting as much rain I imagine in PA as you are. Pours for a while for days then gets humid again. :-)

  2. I don't think I'll ever be able to keep up with the Vanderbilts. And I am OK with that! :) Stay dry if you get any rain today.

    1. But it's fun to think we could! Think of how many studios/craft spaces you could have. One for each activity: painting, mixed media, paper storage, art supplies...

  3. This just makes me feel sorry for all the servants! Can you imagine dusting/cleaning/polishing/cooking/laundering/gardening.....etc???? 😱

    1. I think there were some 40 people who take care of the house and grounds. And for 2 weeks out of the year!

  4. Oh yes, I would love to have some studios there, one for each colour!
