This week it was all about the birds. A bluebird!
Three bluebirds!
I toss some seed close to the front window. The snowbirds are the only brave ones to come close to the house. Calli and Quill really like it when their feathered friends come for a visit.
A cardinal. Hi, Dad!
Sunny and cold here, too. I bought seeds to attract bees - once it gets warmer. On... the balcony.
ReplyDeleteNice with the bees in your little garden - CJ
DeleteNo cardinals here but we get 'visited' by ancestral butterflies! 😇
ReplyDeleteVery cool!
DeleteI love bluebirds and cardinals. We rarely see cardinals around my house and bluebirds are even rarer. But I know that on the off occasion that I do see a cardinal, it is my dad coming to visit.

I always think of my parents when I see cardinals
DeleteIt;s always a joy to see the birds that visit the garden.
ReplyDeleteAll the best Jan
Yes, it means warmer weather is on the way
DeleteSo lovely to feed the birds over winter and I loved seeing the cardinal, I say the same when I see a European Robin 😊. Not seen those little blurbirds before, so pretty. Happy wishes ❤️. Hugs, Jo x
ReplyDeleteAw, that's sweet about the European Robins. I wish the American Robin looked as cute
DeleteI'm so excited about your bluebirds. It's very exciting. I know they are looking for nesting sites right now. I hope you end up getting some regular visitors.
ReplyDeleteThat would be awesome
