On Mondays via Zoom, I participate in a class where we spend a half an hour doodling our stress away.
A new year, I decided I don't want to be buried in paper so for the Doodle class, I'm doodling digitally using the app Concepts on the iPad.
That didn't last very long. I forgot to charge up the iPad and iPencil before the class began. So back to pen, paper, and markers
We were instructed to doodle symbols. I had a set of journaling stencils I played with.
February 3rd, my husband's birthday.
ReplyDeleteI love the idea of using doodling as a stress reduction technique! It’s amazing how something so simple can help calm the mind. I totally understand the tech hiccup with the iPad, but honestly, there’s something so satisfying about good old-fashioned pen, paper, and markers. Your journaling stencils sound like a great way to add a little structure to the creative process. I might have to try this out for myself!
ReplyDeleteHi, wishing you a great Wednesday: I just shared a new post: https://www.melodyjacob.com/2025/03/top-vitamins-and-supplements-for-healthy-skin-hair.html
Doodling is a wonderful technique for calming the mind or working through a creative block.
DeleteI'd say you had alot of fun... Which one do you enjoy more... paper or Ipad??? I think my answer would be paper.... Hugs! deb
ReplyDeleteI like drawing on the iPad, but I need more confidence so for now, paper. I also need to remember to charge the devices
DeleteFrustrating when the iPad battery dies isn't it? That's why I got myself a 24' charging cord! (it reaches the couch!😂)
