Only I had a hard time picking out just 10 movies so my favorites over the next few hundred Saturdays 😸 in semi-alphabetical order:
The Hunchback of Notre Dame (1939) Charles Laughton, Maureen O'Hara
If you haven't seen this movie, it's available for rent on Amazon Prime and YouTube.com
I don’t know this film. The only one I have seen is the Disney cartoon one many years ago. Sounds like the weather might be iffy this PM and it might be a good movie afternoon. Hope you are having a nice weekend. Hugs Erika
ReplyDeleteLaughton’s version is the best
DeleteWow, I've seen this one, even several times! Valerie
ReplyDeleteI think that’’s two for two 😄
DeleteI've actually HEARD of this one, but have never seen it, of course.
ReplyDeleteIf you ever get a chance...
DeleteIt's the best version of them all. Laughton is incredible. :D
ReplyDeleteHe’s amazing
DeleteI've seen this more than once. Laughton is magnificent, isn't he, and this is a classic. Such a tragic tale.
ReplyDeleteHe gave such an incredible performance
DeleteI've never seen this. It always looked like it would be depressing.
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your weekend:)
It's a Beauty and the Beast story. Tragic unrequited love. Masterfully acted.
DeleteI'm sure this is a film I have watched … but it was a long time ago.
ReplyDeleteMany would say it's a classic.
All the best Jan
Indeed, it is
ReplyDeleteI have never seen it, but have heard a lot about it! Thanks CJ!
