An inside out story
The Mother Peace Lily has two blooms!
The library seeds are growing wild
Leaves on the honeysuckle vine. No cardinals nesting in the vine this year
Crocus!
Himself went to the grocery store and came home with this plant
What a difference a week makes! Daffodils popping up
Crocus where some bunny must have planted them.
Seems like I just put out the St. Patrick's Day decorations and now time for the Easter decorations. It's been so windy, I had to bring the Easter garden flag in as I was worried it was going to blow away garden stake and all.
Easter basket
Easter Buny
Kale pushed around. Even the critters don't like kale
First Robin of Spring
Looks like Himself has a green thumb. Those seeds are doing well. You made great progress with your driveway stones. (I still need to do snow plow restoration in my driveway.) I have found that the critters here don't seem to like cabbage. I put the leftover cabbage from Saint Patrick's Day outside, and nothing ate it, which I then remembered happened in past years, too. Go figure.
ReplyDeleteThere's still on small patch to the right of the stone photo that I still have to do. My arms and shoulders gave out and I couldn't finish.
DeleteIt looks like spring is in its way! The critters are right not to like kale, horrible stuff! Enjoy your weekend! Valerie
ReplyDeleteI thought the critters might like the kale because to me it tastes like grass clippings. 😺
DeleteHere in Arkansas the Service Berry is blooming and some of the Red Buds are starting to pop... The Daffodils are everywhere... the leaves on the Barberry Bush are coming out..and the Bradford Pear trees are blooming.. The Dogwood trees won't be far behind.. I have an Amaryllis blooming... I was not very successful getting them to bloom for Christmas..lol
ReplyDeleteSounds like Spring is on a roll in your corner. I bet the Amaryllis will bloom again at Christmas. My mother had some and I think they bloomed twice a year at Christmas and around or a little after Easter.
DeleteYour garden looks great! HAPPY SPRING!
ReplyDeleteHappy Spring, finally!
DeleteHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! Even the critters don't like kale! I KNEW it! :D
ReplyDelete(You're right with your description of kale. Here's what Mamamias website says: "Kale tastes gross.
It tastes like a vegetable garden smells. Dirt, lawn mower clippings, leaves. It tastes like what I imagine a cow’s fart would taste like." Now THAT'S a description! )
I’m dying 😺
DeleteThose of us who don’t like kale have been vindicated 😺
ReplyDeleteWow, so many pretty flowers! It's lovely to see them, spring looks like it's on its way -yay 😁. Your Easter decorations look so bright and cheery too. Happy Sunday and have a happy new week! Hugs, Jo x
ReplyDeleteSpring finally arrived
DeleteYou are definitely just a bit ahead of me. My crocuses are just popping out of the ground, so flowers will be soon. I like your Easter decorations. They scream spring. I must say, March for the last few weeks has been pretty nice this year.
ReplyDeleteMarch has felt like we're not in Kansas anymore. I'm waiting for the other shoe to drop 😺
DeleteYou have flowers blooming! Hoorah! It looks like my Eastern Redbud survived this winter. It's too young to bloom yet, but the little baby leaves are peeking out.
ReplyDeleteThat's good news on the Redbud
DeleteKale ... you either love it or hate it!
ReplyDeleteI do like all of your Easter decorations, the flag is so colourful.
All the best Jan
I did try to like it. Roasted, sautéed, it still tasted like grass clippings. 😺
DeleteYour garden has been busy producing. I am behind in blog world because of nice weather and busy cleaning up fall and winter's mess it leaves in the mountains. I would leave it all but we would get a notice in June that it has to be done for fire safety. ugh. But I got to go off the mountain a few days and down to see some spring sites.
ReplyDeleteThat must have been a nice trip
Deleteoh yes.
DeleteI'll eat the kale! LOL! Love your Easter decorations!
ReplyDeleteYou're about the only person I know that will eat kale
Delete😺
