Another backwards story
Sunset on the evening of the Vernal Equinox
First Day of Spring, Timex
and Brindle came out to enjoy the sunshine
First day of Spring and the little tree on the Harvey, weather station blossomed. Harvey was wishful thinking the feels like temperature to be warmer 68o F than the real temperature 36 oF. Harvey, wish the feels like temperature at least 10 degrees warmer!
Inside, Himself planted seeds. One of the pansies from the library popped.
Seedlings
Himself put the Farm on a stand to be easier to reach.
Harvey showing the feels like temperature at 78 o F. That's more like it, Harvey.
Frozen mole trails
Snow slowly melting off the tundra
The vinca are greening up
Rocky catching some rays in the Zensical garden
Snow melting around Gruff's bench.
With warmer temps. predicted for the coming week, maybe Himself will be able to put together the greenhouse.
With the snow melted, time for Dedo to go back to his perch to guard the house.
Daffs poking their noses above the ground
Some green things
On March 17, Dad's birthday, the male cardinal came to sit in the honeysuckle vine and watched me through the kitchen window. Happy Birthday, Dad!
Earlier in the week, we had a little bit of snow. Weird snow. Tiny balls of snow that looked more like bits of Styrofoam.
How does your garden grow?
Lovely assortment of photos. I can see what you meant about that weird snow on the ground. Those library seeds starting to grow already is amazing. Yay!
ReplyDeleteI've never seen snow like that before.
DeleteOh boy! A new greenhouse! Can't wait to see it! :D
ReplyDeleteI can't wait to see it, either đŸ˜‰
DeleteI am totally amazed at your weather and how much snow is still on the ground in your world. I'm impressed with the seeds you got at the library. What an amazing offer. They are already looking like they will be ready for the ground soon. I just hope it stays warm so your husband can build that green house.
ReplyDeleteIt's cold here in the Northeast. Frost danger until the end of April and we've been known to get snow in March. Yeah, I'm surprised the seeds came up so quickly.
DeleteYou've got much more signs of spring than me, well at least the green popping up part. Our chipmunks are back too. Hasn't the last couple of days been wonderful? Enjoy this spring weather. Hugs-Erika
ReplyDeleteI hope we have an actual Spring
DeleteSpring is definitely showing itself! Valerie
ReplyDeleteFinally!
DeleteI'm still living in hope that my potted redbud tree has survived. It's too early to tell. I love your indoor seedling system.
ReplyDeleteHopefully, with warm weather this week, the sun room can get cleaned out and the seedlings can be relocated out there.
DeleteThat sunset is wonderful.
ReplyDeleteAll the best Jan
It was a very pretty sunset
DeleteSo special, that your dad (cardinal) came to visit! I love signs like that! Dedo is so cute!
