1. A week ago Friday, a chance for some snow. We didn't even get a flake.
2. The First Day of Spring arrived and it felt a little like Spring. Spring here in New England is a lot like Winter. Cold and wet, just not as much snow.
3. I ordered some Easter goodies, but when they arrived the box was crushed like it had been burst open, but then taped shut. Some of the items were damaged. I sent a complaint and the items will be replaced.
4. We saw the first robin of Spring
5. I put the finishing touches on the Eldest's Easter basket and got it ready to mail.
How was your week?
Glad spring is coming nearer at least. Sorry about the goodies, hope you soon get the replacements. Have a great day, Valerie
ReplyDeleteThe replacements should be here by tomorrow, Saturday
DeleteHurray for great weeks!
ReplyDeleteThis has been a nice week until today's rain. But still warm enough I don't need socks on in the house and my feet are warm. Smile. Hurrah for spring robins. Sad face for crushed boxes. But a good week for you overall I think. Happy weekend, although it sounds not quite as nice as the last one.
ReplyDeleteA good weekend to binge Manifest so we're all caught up for the next season which starts 4/1
DeleteSpring has passed us by and we've gone directly to summer....and the humidity is as high as the temps! :(Silver lining:the pool should heat up quickly!)
ReplyDeleteSounds like my kind of heaven. 💕
DeleteYour week has been spring-themed :) I'm glad the damaged items will be replaced.
ReplyDeleteMe, too. I didn't even have to send the damaged items back
DeleteFinally got first covid shot. ☺

DeleteAnother overcast and rain predicted day in my world. Sounds like you had a great one, though. Sorry about the broken box, but great that it will be replaced.
ReplyDeleteSo glad you saw your first robin of the year. I saw a CARDINAL for the first time in four years on Wednesday. I was over the moon with happiness. It was definitely a male. He was playing in my bamboo. Hope your eldest gets her Easter package and all is well with it. Keep having a great week, CJ.
So cool that you saw a male cardinal.
DeleteAside from rain, our Spring weather has been fairly warm, but very windy!
ReplyDeleteVery windy, here, too. I had to bring in the Easter garden flag because I was afraid it would blow away
DeleteGlad your goods will be replaced! Here... too cold and grey, America laughs about Germany´s dumbness does not help (or maybe it does, too! Hope our "Chancellor" wakes up before she ...)
ReplyDeleteWhat a difficult job for leaders to keep people happy and safe.
DeleteYay, I bet your so pleased that it's feeling like springtime! I guess it must be on its way now you've seen a robin and Im so pleased that you didn't get any snow too 😁. Happy weekend! Hugs, Jo x
ReplyDeleteIt's nice to have a Spring. Usually we go directly from Winter to Summer with no transition weather.
DeleteOh dear! Sorry about the damaged goods, hope the replacements are delivered safely soon.
ReplyDeleteAll the best Jan
They arrived safe and sound this afternoon
DeleteUgh on the crushed box delivery. It's always nice to see the Harbinger of Spring in one's yard!
ReplyDeleteYes, very excited to see the robin.
DeleteWe have some pregnant robins around here!
