Whatcha Doin?

Lots of blog buddies talking about organizing their workspace. I thought I'd try to go from this chaos

to organized chaos.

  1. It looks great CJ. I live in organized chaos. and I like it. I don't know if I could be as creative if everything was too neat or too put behind closed door. But on the other hand it can't be too crazy either. Your organizing looks great. Want to come help with mine? Ha ha. Enjoy the day. hugs-Erika

    1. Yes, I'd love to come and help. It's so easy to be dispassionate about tossing others stuff.

  2. I am working on organizing art supplies between making cards, watercolor and calligraphy. It’s a challenge.

    1. An easy juggling of tasks for you as you're so organized

  3. It's nice to have your space more organized isn't it? I've been doing a lot of deep cleaning and organizing along the way too. :)

  4. I don't have a workspace, but I did spend some time in the back depths of the coat closet going through a box of things from my childhood. I still can't get rid of them lol but have found room on my bookshelves now that I've purged books for a few of my old dolls: Polly, Betty, Alice Blue Gown, and Mama Bear are now out. Maybe someday I'll do something with the rest of that box. I hate to leave it all for the kids to go through...

    1. IT's tough letting go of stuff. Showing off your dolls, Polly, Betty, Alice Blue Gown, and Mama Bear would make a great blog post. Hint, hint

  5. Isn't it amazing how fast it descends into chaos??? I think it's the trolls that come out at night and mess things up! I wish they would put stuff back when they're done with it! ;)

    1. I always feel like I'm Pigpen from the Peanuts comic strip. Everything starts out neat, but 2 seconds later it's a mess

    1. The studio/office is a small room, but amazing how big it feels with all the stuff on the floor cleaned up and books organized.

    1. There's still a pile of stuff to be sorted, but for the most part the room is clean!

  12. I do all my art work sitting on my bed. I keep supplies in my closet and basement storage area nearby. I use to have a separate office but now I call my bedrroom my office and bedroom.

    1. I wouldn't be able to keep the bedroom tidy. Ceej doesn't always put her toys away

  13. Most impressive, CJ. I have to clean up as I go, or I would be overwhelmed. I can't live in clutter or chaos, no matter how controlled. Nice clean up. I see you use your door knobs for storage, too. That's my bad habit. My biggest problem is, if I have bags that go to the car, I always leave them on the front door knob until I eventually venture out, instead of taking them immediately to the car.

    1. The bags aren't storage. One is for recycle and one is for trash

  14. You did a great job of organising everything, what a difference 😁. When I'm crafting my craft table looks very chaotic ...lol! Happy wishes! Hugs Jo x
