Happy Mail
It's always a nice surprise to get a bit of happy mail, but especially when there's so much chaos around us and the news is dire.
From Nan, a lovely St. Patrick's Day card and decorated envelope. Nan always sends me a St. Patrick's Day card which makes me laugh because I'm only Irish through marriage. I suppose everyone is a little Irish on St. Patrick's Day.
With all that is going on it feels like St. Patrick's Day was forever ago, but it was only last week!

DeleteWearin' my green 😺
DeleteI think it is the green and spring like feel of St. Patrick's Day that makes it so appealing. And I guess beer if you want to drink a lot of that. Smile. What a pretty card. Thanks for sharing. They say 5-8 for me tonight, but back to 50 tomorrow. I hope it melts FAST! Hugs-Erika
ReplyDeleteAt 5-8 in. I hope it doesn't melt too fast or it will be in everyone's basement.
DeleteWe all do seem to adopt an Irish heritage on St. Patrick's Day :) What a pretty card!
ReplyDeleteAnd Nan included a sweet note inside, too
DeleteYou're right, we're all Irish on Paddy's day! :D (Welcome to the club!)

Deletecool mail love all the cats on that one card. Life sure feels different ...had two days with some sun and now back to heavy rain all night, heavy fog this morning and more snow prediced in a few days (but probably not much at my altitude (about 4800) ...more heavy above here. Trying to get motivated to sketch.
ReplyDeleteThe cats are how I hide my address. We're getting some snow. Supposed to be 1-3 inches, but it sure is coming down at a good clip before it changes to rain. Tomorrow temps in the 50s so it should be all gone by then.
Deleteglad it will be gone ...the snow..we are still living in a cloud and very heavy rain the night before and now the cloud and fog are still here as another storm is coming in with lower temps and even slight snow here - but after this....say in about three days we are promised by our local weather guy that spring time temps will come along with sun. looking forward to that. I will try and get out for some walks unless the local townspeople throw rocks at those of us who just want a walk. every one seems to uptight even about taking a walk - i will stay six feet ...probably more like a block behind someone not for fear of virus but assault, lol
DeleteWhen all was said and done, we got about an inch of snow. The sun came out and all the snow melted. Everyone is on edge so be very careful when you are out and about
DeleteWhat? There was a St. Pat's Day this month? It flew by here.
ReplyDeleteWe missed it because the holiday was cancelled in a lot of place.
DeleteBest wishes CJ.
ReplyDeleteGod bless.
Thank you, Victor.
