How Does Your Garden Grow?

Finnegan dances in the breeze

Cead Mile Failte! A hundred thousand welcomes!

Sticks and stones may ache my bones as I rake and pick things up from the grass.

No Lily of the Valley poking up

Lots of Arbor Vitae fronds to collect

No crocus or daffodils just moss

Wait! Could this be a crocus shoot?

and daffodils on the hill

The sun is still out at

and look at that temperature.  Can you say Spring fever?

How does your garden grow?

  1. Looks like a lot of work still. Love the Irish flags and greetings. Spring will come soon(er or later)! Valerie

  2. Our little balcony waits a bit yet. A garden. Hmmm. Lucky you, but a lot of work!

  3. There's always work to do in the garden. My grand-father used to say, "sticks and stones may break my bones but words will never hurt me!" Then one day he tripped on a dictionary.

    God bless.

  6. Spring! We had sunshine yesterday, but the rains are returning today. Your hint of a crocus looks encouraging :)

  8. I think it looks good and there is no snow! The grass always looks so needy once the snow disappears. My garden is pretty soft and squishy and the last few piles of snow is melting. What a gorgeous day. We hit 73! Hugs-Erika

    1. The ground is still boggy, but a few more days of upper 60s and 70s with no rain ought to help

  10. Not sure how I missed this post. DUH. Seems I was out of it all day yesterday while offline. Love your flag honoring St. Patrick's Day. I also like your welcome sign on the door. It has rained and rained and rained here, so there'll be no cleaning up. I see I have a few things that got scattered and tossed around on the north side of my house, too. Yours looks in far better shape. Congrats.

  12. wow, that time of year again when we get to see how your garden grows. I love it. I enjoy nothing more than to get in the jeep like we did yesterday and go look for blooms, whether on trees or ground cover, etc. There are just a few things blooming now and the pink trees blossoms are everywhere up here now. Today it's raining and will for the next three days or so I guess.
