This idea came from a Facebook meme:
Over 10 days, post your 10 all time favorite films. What movie has really made an impact on you or what films can you watch over and over and never tire of? Post either the movie poster, DVD cover or even a screenshot on your timeline. No need to explain.
Only I had a hard time picking out just 10 movies so my favorites over the next few hundred Saturdays 😸 in semi-alphabetical order:me favorite films. Take the High Ground (1953) Richard 😻Widmark, Karl Malden, and (Baby) Russ Tamblyn
If you haven't seen this movie, and you probably haven't as it's not shown very often, it's available for free on YouTube.
I don't remember seeing this one, is one I would watch
ReplyDeleteHappy Saturday
Typical Widmark war movie
DeleteYou are correct. Not only have I never seen it, I've not even heard of it. Free is good, though.
ReplyDeleteFree is very good
DeleteI like the actors but this one just fell flat for me. That's what makes horse races as they used to say. ;)
ReplyDeleteThis was the very first Widmark movie I saw. I was 8 years old and fell ass over teakettle in love with Widmark
DeleteI don't think I've seen this one. Good actors in it.
ReplyDeleteRichard Widmark and Karl Malden grew up in the midWest, didn't quite fit the Hollywood scene and became best friends. They made several movies together.
DeleteI don't know if I've seen this one. I've seen some Karl Malden films, but I'd need to actually watch this film to know. Hope you didn't get a lot of rain today and are enjoying the steaminess.
ReplyDeleteWe didn't get any rain today. It all headed to your house. And yes, I'm loving the humdiditity. All week!
DeleteA good cast, but I don't think I've seen this film.
ReplyDeleteAll the best Jan
Doesn't surprise me as it's not shown very much any more
Deletelol..I won't even say it ... but you probably know what I will say.
ReplyDelete😺 No worries
DeleteWell, this one got by me; I've never heard of it. Richard Widmark, though :)
ReplyDeleteThis is one of the typical RW war movies, not the best, but it’s Widmark
DeleteMy husband is an avid (dare I say obsessed even) fan of all sorts of war movies. I am sure he has seen this one!
