How Does Your Garden Grow?

Ink's garden

Morning glories and milkweed

The heat and humidity has caused the "meadow" to turn into a jumgle

Grass-leaved Goldenrod

Boneset

Pokeweed. Though it looks more like Poke Tree. I was hoping it was Elderberry.

The new toy. A self-retracting, hose reel

A lonely morning glory

Little Shop of Horror Garden

Lots and lots of cherry tomatoes

Rotrow! Another hornet nest

The hydrangea making a comeback

Dedo chilling in the shade of the hydrangea as another heatwave is predicted for this week.

    1. The hydrangea gets an A for effort in making the comeback. Last year, only 2 small blossoms. This year 8 blossoms.

  4. It's always amazing how by the time we get to the end of July te gardens and forests are as thick as can be. As long as we're not too dry. Nice photos this week. And red tomatoes? Nice.

  5. Loved your new toy. Your garden is doing well, except for the hornet's nest. Wish my tomatoes would grow like yours, but they can't seem to make it in that hay bale.

    1. Several years ago, Himself had a garden in a straw bale. Before planting the bale was prepared with fertilizer. His plants seemed to do well.
