On Facebook my town library asked, if you had to be trapped in a children's book for a month, which one would you choose? I would choose:
If you're not familiar with the story, armed with his purple crayon, Harold is a little boy who draws his way in and out of trouble while trying to find his way home.
I would choose the Chronicles of Narnia, I so want to go through that wardrobe and land somewhere else! Valerie
ReplyDeleteI didn't know that series until the Young One was in elementary school. We both didn't care for it preferring Lord of the Rings
DeleteI am not familiar with this one-sounds too fun. sadly I don't really remember a children's book-and my Mom always took us three kids to the library every two weeks to load up on new books.
ReplyDeleteMy dad took me to the library every Saturday while the poor Brother got saddled with accordion lessons
Deleteah you got the better deal for sure
DeleteWhat an adorable choice. I don't even remember any books from my childhood, although I would receive an award every summer because I read at least 100 books (and answered written questions to prove I'd read the book when I turned it back in). The library was always my friend back then.
ReplyDeleteImpressive

Deletethis was so cute. and I see that i draw buildings just like a little kid does. My cities always look like his.
ReplyDeleteIt took me four years to paint like Raphael, but a lifetime to paint like a child.
DeletePablo Picasso
this is a hard question to answer and would take some thinking.....a book geared for teens though; hands down Nancy Drew !!! ☺☺♥♥
ReplyDeleteI liked Nancy’s friend, George
DeleteI love the Harold and the Purple Crayon books! My kids enjoyed them when they were little, though I wasn't familiar with them 'til then.
ReplyDeleteI pick The Wind in the Willows.
I never read that

That's a good question. Mine would be One Morning In Maine. But I do love the Harold books. Thanks for sharing the facebook question!
ReplyDeleteI thought it was fun to see what books people loved as kids.
