The Friday Five Good Things

Five good things that happened this week.

1.I learned how to make a FCM file from a high resolution jpg or png for the Scan n Cut machine

2. Baked the Starlight Double Delight Chocolate Cake with orange flavoring as requested.

3. Washed the windows and hung new curtains in the bedroom

4. Watched Taras Bulba from the TCM movie Himself recorded for me on the DVR

5. Had awesome leftover lunch a meatball sub from the local pizza/sandwich shop

  2. My week was good too. Chocolate orange cake sounds yummy. I made a zucchini chocolate cake. And a banana bread which I froze for now. And good for you to wash windows. Mine are pretty bad. One of these days I will get to them. I do like your new curtains a lot. Glad it was a good week. Happy weekend!

  5. New carpet installed putting house back together

    New aircondition installed when the old one crapped out...I'm nice and cool

    My bloodwork tests seemed to have all come back good...

    Daughter has settled on a new baby name AND i like it... Aaryn...pronounced like Erin...

    I'am still below 200 pounds and headed down!!

    I see more and more people wearing masks in town

    I don't do any baking anymore as hubs and i have health issues but your cake sounds wonderful!!! I used to bake then give half of it away as we didn't NEED all of it but with hubs and i not working nor do we have good neighbors theres noone to pass it on to...lol Hugs! deb

  6. it's so pretty looking out that window with the shear curtain... and that cake sounds great. Are you able to stay away after 1 piece or do you go back for like 8 more little pieces in a day. If I have a good cake around i can't keep my hands off of it. However, I only cut little pieces but like every hour of the day I'm awake.

  7. For #1: You lost me. All I understood was .jpg and .png. And Scan-n[-cut of course!

    For the rest, it sounds like I should NOT ever, ever come here when I'm hungry. Now I'm starving and craving both cake and a veggie sub! Lucky you and himself, too.

    1. The Scan and Cut machine uses an FCM file format. Known as Fancy Cutting Machine or Fabric Cutting Machine
